I would definately have to agree with WC15. I was at the game when the ref had to do his business, and I also think he gave the WC coach double birds and tried to fight him after the game. Although very funny to watch, it was very unprofessional. And I think the middle ref that night was the new WC coach. So why would a guy want to screw us over and then come coach them now???? There is nothing I would like to see more than for WC good come out the victors tom. night. This is pretty much the same team from last year without about three players that graduated. I heard none of them even got any district honors??? Hard to believe that, I watched them all play last season and they all played with alot of heart and skill despite the harsh criticism of their former coach. I'm not saying that the ones that got the honors by any means don't deserve them, they did. But how is it that two four year letterman just looked over???

I watched WC middle their last game and they looked amazing. I just hope they are encoraged to take it to the next level where it is really needed.

I would have to agree with the decision that Dryden is the best man to fill in until a new head coach can be found. This is a sad day for WC football and with only a week away from homecoming. I really feel for the seniors and juniors that have played every year. We always talk about why the middle school players quit before they get to high school in WC and I think this is one of the reasons why. A coach quitting in the middle of the season doesn't look to promising to anybody coming up to high school. I hope this problem is taken care of well and hope the boys don't get to upset about it. I have to agree with jabbo about that fact that he always trashes WC. Why is that theraiderman? Does it make you feel better about yourself or something? Is your one goal in life shouldn't be to post bad messages about WC? And obvious your not a player so why do it. Do you not have anything better to do? Did WC wrong you so bad that you make it your life mission to trash them every chance you get? Granted there might not be anything good to say about the Pioneers but why kick them when they are down. You should just focus on your teams success instead of picking on a losing team.

I think anybody vs. the boro teams get up for it. I dunno what it is but you just want to beat those guys.

I would have to agree that "The Pit", was pretty intimidating to play in. We had a small scrimish with some of the player right before half time not knowing that we would have to walk through all the parents and fans of LC. We made it out alive of course but we walked pretty darn close to each other.

Who on friday nights has the most intimidating atmosphere before the game. This could include the team, fans, stadium, music during warm-ups, or just plain tradition. Pretty much where is the least favorite place everybody wants to play at?

southpaw24, Yes I do know that there was once tradtion in WC but not everyone else does. They had that great season of 83', but that was close to when I was born! And if you didn't play football there you would never even know that. The guys today don't know about that tradtion, they only know of the losing tradtion of WC not the winning. And I don't have to ask anybody about the tradtion, I already know it. That team from 83' should get behind the Pioneers in this trying time and show them that people still want them to suceed and believe in them. And to tell them how hard they had to work to get to where they got. It might be to even to add a couple of them to the coaching staff....couldn't hurt.

I'd have to agree with ELA on that one. Why would he ever want to go there? With all those state championship rings hes got he would be crazy if he did!

Yea go out and do it for all the guys that were 0-40 when they graduated from WC!!!!!!! I know ya'll can do it.

I would have to be pulling for the Pioneers in this one. Tulluhoma hasn't won a game this year but they won many last season. Its time for WC not to be the 0-10 team for once at the end of the season. The odds are against them but I hope they can fight through it and come out successful. Also what did the article in the Southern "Slander" say about doing away with football at the high school level? Is that what they going to do or is it what they want to do? And if it is what they want to do they should be ashamed of that article. I know that the Pioneers haven't won many but when your a high school football player and you have to hear about everyday at school and then go home and read about it in the paper that really makes you not want to play anymore. It also discourages the younger guys from playing. I think WCs worst enemy is the lack of tradition in the program which makes guys not want to ever start playing in the program. Instead of making a difference by joining the team and working hard, they just sit in the stand and crack jokes about how bad they are. I think if never played high school football you don't have the right to criticize the few that are out there trying in to make a difference and wanting to change things around.

What's with the lack of scoring on WCs part I know they have never scored that much, but in years past they have at least scored a touchdown or two. What happened to there kicker from last year? It took them till the end of the season to actually use him and what happened when they did he connected from like 45 yards out. If he is still there they should just kick it when they get near the 30. He had to be one of their top scores, even though it is WC. What happened to the "great" backfield that was praised to heavily during the first couple games. Did they just dissapear or what? Also who all has quit the team I heard a few seniors but anybody else?
