Things keep getting more interesting here in Lewis County. The return of Howard Spears? Is this a serious scenario or is there pun intended as with the other job openings mentioned with Spears name (such as the college coaching positions you all write about)? I have watched Spears coach for years and his intensity on the court and in the locker room is unmatched. He will be a great coach for the Panthers if thats the case. On a side note, buster04, is there any "inside" word on the middle school girls basketball coaching position?

Lewis County-15 Huntingdon-14 Go Lewis County!

There are several top notch games in the state tonight. Personally I will be traveling to Lewis County to watch them take on Huntingdon. It's one of the biggest matchups in 2A with Huntingdon coming in at 11-1 and Lewis County at 12-0. The Tyner/Lipscomb matchup should be a great game also. I would love to see it but must return home to cheer on the Panthers.

I see Alcoa being to fast for Oliver Springs. Hill and Warren can fly with the ball and the defense has been playing well too. Alcoa-24 Oliver Springs-17

I have to go with Lipscomb. I agree that Burton Elrod and Austin Rogers are great players and I wish them well.

I like Knox Central. They have a nice line and their defense is looking good.
