How do u guys predict the Cougars to be this year?? I am really anxious to see what you have on this topic!! Who do they have?? How will they be in their district??

I heard that MLK should be the team to beat in the district followed by Station Camp a sleeper, Lipscomb well coached squad, And the usuals Portland, HFA, Springfield, Macon County, East lit ,Greenbrier. I hear that East Lit lost a lot of its freshman talent this past year due to unforseen problems. They lost 4 out of 5 freshman starters this maybe a very tough obstacle for east lit to overcome. They now are left with a lot of under expierenced under classmen. These people who left were also getting a lot of Varsity minutes last year and made big contributions at big times. So what do u guys think on that??

congrats to austin and his commitment as for an earlier post stating that patrick turner will be playing tight end this upcoming fall i don't believe much of that - i have heard that he will be taking a trip this week USC because he is the number one wide out prospect on there list ( not to shabby )

In 2A there are many great players.Some that come to mind are. backs- cutler robinson-dl brandon janco-gp patrick turner-gp dustin latham-sweetwater rod smith-milan carlos hudson-east robertson lineman- Demonte Bolden-tyner Greg Smith-tyner BeN A.dl These are just to name a few.i dont know much about the great lineman but skill players i know everyone just about.

This was one of the greatest games ive ever seen.Both teams played with such emtion all players looked like they wanted this game.Both teams displayed wonderful things.GP hurt themselves alot and allowed big playes for Lipscomb.I sopke to QB for Goodpasture and he said and i quote" This was the greatest game ive ever played in and been apart of, it was fun being out there competeing back and forth". It did seem like when one team scored the other one did on the next drive.Janco also said he has much respect to the players for Lipscomb expesscially: elrod,taylor.robinson, and linheng.He said himand linheng were pretty good friends. I cant wait to see these two teams play again in the playoffs it will be another one for the record books.Congrats DL AND GP on a great game. Janco also went on to say that he likes the way Taylor hits giving him a mild concussion in the midle of the second quarter.

Im going to go with GP by at least 14 if not more.They come off tough loss to lipscomb and look pretty good and probably would have one if not for so many mistakes. gp-28 bga-14

yes lipscomb faced a grity marshall cty team friday.i was in attendance and saw good things from lipscomb.they looked pretty good at times but looked kinda sloppy at first.they threw the ball pretty well in the few times they did.i think two were td passes. but im expecting a good game from both teams this week. OK, I KNOW ITS A WEEK AWAY, BUT I WAS WONDERING WHAT YOU GUYS THOUGHT.THIS IS A BIG GAME FOR BOTH TEAMS, THE BIGGEST ALL YEAR.LIPSCOMB IS COMING OFF THE CHAMPIONSHIP AND IS 2-0 AND LOOKING TO ADD TO THAT THIS WEEK AND NEXT.THEY HAVE TWO GREAT PLAYERS IN CULTER ROBINSON AND MADIOSN TAYLOR.GOODPASTURE IS COMING OFF GOOD WINS OVER CPA AND EZELL.THEY GET A BYE THIS WEEK TO REST.THE LOOK LIKE THAT ARE READY TO PLAY LIPSCOMB SINCE THE STUNNING 29-0 DEFEAT.THEY ALSO HAVE TWO GREAT PLAYERS IN JANCO AND TURNER, BUT ALSO HAVE A COUPLE OF OTHER GOOD ONES IN BRANDON WILLIAMS AND DECARLOS ROBINSON.THIS IS ALSO ONE OF THE BIGGEST RIVALYS IN TN.THE GAME IS TELEVISED ON COMCAST AND AT LIPSCOMB. I KNOW ILL BE THERE.GIVE ME YOUR THOUGHTS.

what about the two kids from goodpasture.patrick turner and brandon janco.i think they are prob without a doubt the two best in 2aa.theres no one else that compairs.they are also one of the best duos in the state as far as wr and qb goes.gp also has a pretty darn good fs brandon williams i think his name is.all these guys are good players and will move on to the next level.

i know brandon janco from goodpasture has had many letters.he is recieved them form auburn,alabama,lsu,marshall,vandy,mtsu,colorado,michigan,georgia tech,wake forest,ut, and many small schools.coaches form these schools have also visited gp or called for info on him.i have been told that he i the most heavly recruited player from goodpasture ever!!!but none of this or anything anyone else means anything tell the offers start coming in.

this could be true but sometimes playing for a bad coach can make an athlete change hi/her minds.if this is true then i will retract my statment mad earlier

i was there to you are right about eh two screens but yolaso forgot two deep balls for touchdowns to and a short pass that would have been a touchdown but the whistle was blown early.portland scored on time on a deep pass the other one was tackled as soone as he got it.if u dont believe me then i can get you a tape bc i use to go their and i do know people

gp has about 20 juniors but onl 6 or 7 of them.#10 their quarterbck which is prettty good i might add i have heared rumors that he is supposed to be the best gp has ever had.#42 thier fullback also good.#9 i think his name is brandon williams he is also very good he started last year and did very good as a sop.#58 a lineman who returns from last year.#32 and # 2 are in the rotation at reciever dont know how good they are yet.gp will be just fine ,they will win the clinic bowl this year garunteed
