Im not saying that James and Way are going to carry the team, I am just saying they are returning two good athletes which couldn't hurt their offense and like coach Logan said, Satterfield always has tricks up his sleave. By no means do I belive individuals carry a team, but it doesn't hurt to return good players.

Does anybody know who Cloudland has scheduled that is not in the region.

Ftball fan they are not going to be much of a suprise if you keep posting the same thing over and over. Anyways, I think Midway is going to be a strong team this year along with Oneida. Graduation didnt really take its toll on Oneida so I think we will see a suprise team in the Indians. I dont think CAK will be that bad either. They lost 13 seniors but they have been replaced by some decent talent. The Cherokees are no slouches either. They return Austin and Greg so their offense should not be too shaby. Its going to be tooth and nail between the big 5 in region 2 (Midway, Greenback, Oneida, CAK, and Coalfield). Should be an exciting season.

By no means are any of these teams overrated. I do think that South Pitt made alot of mistakes (turnovers) in the boyd game. Cloudland is a good team with good players. Both teams are good. I could see a Cloudland/South Pitt game being a good one. It definately wouldnt hurt Cloudland to schedule these type of teams.

CAK will lose linemen A.J. Kendall, Nick Parrish, Bryce Hardin, Michael Blount, Brad Davidson and TE Morgan Cox. Quarterback Mark Cunningham, Receivers Nathan Chesney, Brendan Japp, David Park and Jamie Trinker. Full backs Will Burkhart and Matt Miller.

Actually the refs are either from Nashville or Chatanooga for playoff games here. I can tell you the refs could care less who won that game. This whole ref thing, though, is no excuse. When it came time to get it done, CAK got it done. They made the plays, Greenback didn't.

What is your problem. You can put down a team, thats fine, but dont attack someone's belief of religion. How can anything about that statement resemble . Thats just a lack of intelligence and a display of ignorance. Don't be a jerk.

I totally agree. They (the players) displayed the best class I have seen out of any team CAK has played. Good luck to yall next season.

If you put him behind a good line, like he has now led by seniors Nick Parrish, Michael Blount, Bryce Hardin, and A.J. Kendall with Junior James Logan, then this guy can do pretty much anything. He is cool under pressure, and is comfortable in the pocket. Give him a good collegiant line, and Im telling you he can make it happen. I remember seeing pictures and film of Chad Penington back at Webb, tall skinny guy, threw well. Mark reminds me of him.

O yeah ask Cunningham about #13 and 68, the "jewel grabbers." You guys are just so ruff and tuff. Please give me a break. Its pretty sad when you have to get so desperate to get somebody down, that you have to start grabbing genitalia. And then when the game is over and the wistle blows you step on Mark's hand. Real tuff. You are the most unintelligent person who serves no decent purpose to society except for pumping my gas. I agree with you. Its a shame that private schools are stereotyped like that because of a couple bad eggs (other private schools) cheated or whatever. CAK deserves everything that has come to them because they WORKED hard for it.

You are mis-interpreting what I am saying Penny. Jacketman gets on here and says that CAK has an advantage over the public schools because they have money and stuff. Three years ago, you guys were excited to have CAK come into the region because it was an easy win, now that Coalfield lost to CAK, Jacketman wants them out. I am not saying at all they are "big and bad." They still have a long ways to go. They have drastically improved and now that they have beaten most of the teams that killed them three years ago, they are not wanted anymore. I just found that interesting. I am not saying that CAK is all world or anything.

Three years ago when CAK was just getting started, they were welcomed into region 2 with open arms because they were an easy win on the schedule. Now that they are winning, people want them out. This is very interesting.

How in the world does that have any relevence to this post. O, and about this money in athletics and people think CAK recruits business, every senior on the team has been at CAK since 7th grade with the exception of maybe two. And at that time football was not even up for discussion. And if you think Mark Cunningham was recruited well then your wrong. He has been at CAK since 1st grade. This team just has some pretty dang good athletes with alot of heart and the drive to win. So Coalfield you can save your crying on this issue because you have no argument or proof to back your statements. Talk is cheap. If you say something, back it up.

O and for the game, I know I will be called crazy, but im going with the upset. Gordonsville by 3.

Cloudland too slow! Are you kidding. They had at least two guys who ran ligit 4.4 40s. They had plenty of speed.

Thanks for clearing that up. I knew I heard somewhere that their field was unplayable and that they had to get it fixed.

I heard somewhere that Midway's field was under renovation and that they have not played there this season. I just want to know if this rumor is true or not. If it is, where would they play the playoff game this friday?

These are not CAK fans starting all these posts about state. Dont get me wrong, they definatley appreciate the respect, but they are not looking to far ahead of themselves. I will let you know, CAK has put this behind them and they know whats coming this friday. I think they are going to take this one personal since Midway beat them in the regular season. This game means more to CAK than the Cloudland game. CAK knows they have alot more to prove before they even start dreaming about state.

Have you ever been to a CAK game and watched any of the players.

CAK (6-4) travels up to Midway (7-4) this Friday to play the Greenwaves, whom had beaten CAK in the regular season, in the second round of the playoffs. How will this one turn out.

What an amazing game. CAK came to play and they did it well. Cunningham was right on target. With 2:30 left on the clock, CAK started their drive from their own 20 yard line. CAK completed pass after pass and controlled the clock well with Cloudland up 30 to 24. CAK got down to Cloudlands 10 yard line and Cunningham connected a pass to Nathan Chesney in the corner of the endzone with 5 seconds left on the clock. It was all history when Jeremy Park connected the extra point to put the Warriors in the lead. CAK kicked off to the Highlanders and Mark Byrd was tackled with 0 on the clock. The CAK fans rushed the field as the Warriors celebrated their huge upset. Congratulations to the Warriors with their awesome win. Cloudland played an awesome game as well. CAK will travel up to Midway Friday to play in their second round bout. Good luck Warriors.

Hey Deke, I dont doubt ya buddy. I know Cloudland is the real thing. I was trying to emphasize that Vol mans post in NO way represents the ideaologies of the CAK or their team. They respect every team they play and dont back down from the challenge.
