Catholic will probably make it to the playoffs, but will not beat BGA in regular season. Plus the game is at BGA. Im not saying Catholic is a bad team it is just that BGA is too strong.

Goosevol, I would definately think CAK is ready to compete with Coalfield. Last year, Coalfield only beat them by three and I dont think CAK lost anyone to graduation. Plus the game is at CAK's place and its later in the season. CAK came out strong towards the end last year.

Its going to be a close one between Brentwood and MBA but I have to say that the Big Red from Nashville are going to repeat another title this year.

I would have to say say the two top teams in this division are Briarcrest and BGA. With an amazing 2 OT championship game last year, I wouldnt be surprised to see this championship game again this year. I have to say, though, that its BGA's year and they are going to take the title.

Who has the Defense in 1A this year?

I have to say Cloudland's Dakota Benfield is very strong. CAK finally has a healthy John Douglas who is a player. I belive he suffered from an ankle injury last season, but this year hes stronger and faster and might pose a problem for many defenses. Lipscombs Culter Robertson is a player. He was MVP last year and I see him having a banner year this year. Anderson County's Jason Sanders is a power house. Gaining over 1700 yards last year, he is the man that will lead the ground attack for the Mav's.

Mark Cunningham and Austin James have to be the top. Cunningham has a strong arm and good accuracy. He now has a decent sized line to give him time to prove himself. Austin James could pose a problem for many defenses. With a strong receiver core and a good arm, how could this tag team go wrong.

I have to say Kingston is the strongest team in Roane County. I hear they just got a running back from Kentucky and I hear he runs over everybody. I have to say Kinston has the Roane County stronghold. But they are not going to run away with it. They have Oliver Springs and Rockwood to watch out for. I think Rockwood might give them a game.

Hey Biggamer, I dont think you should be trashing Oakdale. Last I heard your Harriman Blue Devils turned down an offer to scrimmage CAK. At least Oakdale shows up for their scrimmages.

I think CAK is going to suprise alot of people and the CAK vs Greenback game will be an interesting one to watch.

Graduation hit the Riverdale Warriors pretty hard. They are going to come out with a strong team but I think the Region 4 favorite will have to be Oakland.

With a stacked line, fast running backs, and a defense fit for domination, how can Oliver Springs go wrong. But dont jump on the bandwagon just yet. Dont forget about the Rockwood power house. They have alot to offer this year and I think they will come out on top. Rockwood takes the Region 2 title.

It seems like everyone is so quick to jump on the Maryville bandwagon. Dont get me wrong, Maryville is going to have a great team, but I have to go with Knox Central taking the Region 3 title.

This is going to be a close one between CPA, Ezell Harding, and Donelson Christian. Even though EH killed DCA last season, EH's list of returning starters is not large and it seems CPA has the same issue this year, so I have to go with DCA taking the Region 5 title.

Gordonsville had a pretty good season last year going 10-3 and having the Region 4 title under their belt. The only thing that looks promising enogh to take that is Montery but I have to go with Gordonsville.

Im seeing a close one between SP and Boyd, but I have to go with SP coming out on top.
