Three of the Five teams that Greeneville has lost to have either won their respected state championships (Harpeth Hall) or are in the final state tournament (Elizabethton, Mt. Juliet). The only other two of their losses came to Jefferson County who was deffeated by Powell by 2 (but Greeneville also beat Jefferson County 3 times this season) and Cabrini, LA who will more than likely compete for their state crown this year also. Its not good to judge a team Greeneville by 2 or 3 other teams when you say Harpeth Hall beat Greeneville and Ridgeway beat Harpeth Hall and Dyersburg thumped Ridgeway. Its basketball anything can happen on any given night. The teams just have to be prepared. I still think that Greeneville will pull this one off with fasion too much talent . Great job to both teams for making it this far. Greeneville is a team that has made it to the boro two years in a row. With great coaches and players I dont think that its smart to go ahead and say that dyersburg will win. Greeneville has a great coach in Lynn Burkey he will prepare his team well and it should be a great match up. But with GHS making their second straight apearence in the Boro I am going to give the edge to Greeneville. Greeneville-55 Dyersburg-48

Cait MacMahan is probabaly the best player in the state... She has improved from last year as a sophomore and should dominate this year. Don't forget other players from across the state. Meagan Lyons scored 44 in opening game for Greeneville against Daniel Boone.

Yeah she looked pretty impresive last night.... At times she was unstopable... This looks to be a good sign for the season to come...

Yeah, these look like the preseason starters: Andrew Shumate, Tracy Champion, Eric Anderson, Tyler Bailey, Jonathon Murner or B.J. Washington. But with such a deep bench their will be several boys getting playin time.

Greeneville basketball is looking to have another very good team this year. With alot of depth and skill they look as if they could make a run this year. What are some of your thoughts?

I think that some of you are gonna be suprised by the skill level of the Greene Devils... Well see... It should be a good game but Greeneville pulls it out.

Greeneville is a very solid team this year..... They will pose a big threat to the whole state.... They will upset Knox Central at home and gain some attention from everyone....

Greeneville looked good... by playing their first teams only one series they looked pretty good.... their starting tailback was out along with other key players throughout the team.... they will have a strong year and win the imac and have some contention for the state championship....

Its at the IMAC jamboree friday night. Greeneville and Volunteer will meet in the 3rd quarter which should be around 7. Its at Morristown East high school....

You guys better come ready because we (Greeneville) are ready for ya..... I have heard alot of good things about Volunteer so it should be a pretty good match up...

Greeneville will run over mo west with their undstopable running game win the district and go on to win the championship.

Greeneville, The devils will run the tables in region 2 going undefeated and making a run at the championship....
