tyner cant beat lincoln.

i think we have gotten off baise a little. i think when we go on and on about how people cant spell insted of talkin football we know we are off track. i dont remember who said that if it came down to coaching tyner would be in trouble....i dont guess you know turner...he is a great coach...his success speaks for itself. you want an opinion from someone thatgoes to neither school but has seen both play....Tyner wins....BIG. the simple fact is...these boys dont like trash talk...you want to get them fired up...talk some trash about them...better yet go put tombstones infront of the school...the best thing to do for schools playing tyner is not to say a word about them......i must also say that tyner whiped us this year but are trophy case....its packed...no room to spare.

wheather maryville will win the title....again remains to be seen but as long as they are in it im gonna be pullin for them.i have to agree about what was said about the trick plays and i think you said it best when you said it was just a trick play to the unexpecting defense. if its leagal then there is nothing wrong with it. it doesnt agure me but it does make me raise an eye brow when i read teams talkin about they cant believe that CC gave them a game. i hope maryville wins the state because they are a great team and because we played them so close...it will make us look even better. ....And BROTHERS...dont jump QB#7....you cant notice that that was addressed to fayfay....simply because its not very noticeable. he said somethin then you saids that...i would think you were talkin to me also. it wasnt very noticeable at all. Jones form chatt. central. he has turned central around totaly. central hasnt been known for football since the 60's and never since they have moved to hwy 58. jones came and things are changin. im not gonna say he is the best in the business but the wuestion was who would you want to take over your team. jones took over an 0-10 none pounding pounders team and they have done ALOT better. my second would Quarles for sure.

i dont think anyone wants you to pull for there team and to be honest i dont care if you like central or not but it makes you sound really dumb when you talk about a team that you know nothing about. central dont need you and i can assure you that maryville dont either.i think your too hung up on this super 7. i ask this...when is maryville gonna play tyner, 2a, or lincoln 5a, in the playoffs? you said the staement about them right after talkin about maryville restin for the playoffs....do you even know what your talkin about at all?

TOO.....MUCH.......TYNER. tyner is gonna win this game period.i know it will be a good game but i just dont see tyner falling. their line is too big and too strong. lipscomb is comin in here and gonna have to play a college size line and thats hard for high school kids to do. tyner wins by 2tds.

Central....only team in region 4 to make it to the 2nd round.....but your right...the only thing we can do is get better? you see my point i hope....we can get worse....alot worse....we can be back to where we were 4 years ago....0-10 and not ever thinking we can win much less go to the playoffs. maybe your not from aound here..maybe warren county is more familiar to you....dont win much games. that was us 4 years ago...0-10, year before 1-9 year before 0-10....we were the warren county of hamilton. now we outlast every other team in the region and give the best 4a team in the state a run on their own field....i would say we can get alot worse.......alot worse....and im sure you agree. no one at our school thinks we are better then we are....we thought we had a good chance to beat maryville and we almost did maybe you werent there the score dont do the game any justice. central is gaining the respect of all the other local schools around but your right...we are still horrible. central was a heck of a team this year and will be just as good if not beter next year.

maryville does have a good one but.....howard tigers and brainerd panthers have the best in our area.

so then what your sayin is that you have no team....you go around bashing everyone else if you dont like what they are doin or who they are scheduling? central is an up coming program...i think anyone can agree just ask coach quarles. i think you would agree that haveing a good program is more than being good its haveing the confidence in yourselves and faith that you can win. i think jones did a great job of scheduling...they got teams that werent so great and they got teams that were...for a reason no doubt. central needed a shot in the arm and this year they got it they got the community into it the school and even more important it got the players back into it. you dont have a team....you dont support anyone..so if you will do us all a favore and dont say stuff about programs and try to make our school look bad for trying to make things better. you say that central wouldnt have won but about 2 or 3 games this year.....this doesnt make since friend...they won 3 games that was in their region...games they would have won no matter who they scheduled, and you said that and then turned around and said that you would like to have seen us beat the 3 time defending state champs....how can you say that we would have only beatin maybe 2 or 3 but yet you knew that we were good enough to be able to say that we had a chance to beat maryville. your theory has holes in it friend and i hope im not the only person that sees it. GO REBELS!!!!

ok...i think either you messed up or im just missing something here. you just named 3 reason why central will be to the DISadvantage....but yet you picked them to win? and i have to agree....there isnt a team in the state in any class that will shut maryville out. get De La Salle out here and i might be able to get behind you on that but not knox. central....sorry.

im sure that everyone thinks that their coach is the best...at least i do. i think turner and quarles are great coaches but in my own opinion i think jones from CC is the best and heres why. Jones took this pounder team when they werent doin any poundin at all. and although they did get pounded once this year by tyner they still are the most improved. Jones took over 3 years ago about 1 month beofre the season started and had no time to get anything prepared or set up. he just had to take what he had and go with it..they went 0-10. the next year he took the team and put them in the weight room and under much much ridacule he took the sorry pounder team to a 5-5 season and too the playoffs for the first time since 1997. this year we all know how well central has done and we dont need any commintary for it, but i will say that we went to the 2nd round since i dont know how long and gave the best in 4A a good run. Alot of these coaches took over a team that was still considered a strong team and just kept them strong or maybe mad them a little stronger. jones went and took the laughing stock and turned them into a fine well respected team, one that people dont really know for sure if they can beat, one that people dont consider scheduling for home coming. in my opinion jones is #1....but im sure im just biased.

hey, if you can, you may be right, but would you quote and post where one of our fans said that we would KILL maryville, please...thanks. all i recall is saying that it wouldnt be a blow out either way and saying that chatt. central has enough weapons to beat maryville. no disrespect just confidence in our team....alot like you have for your rams.

This is pounderpop. MHS, great game fri. nite. Want you to know I think it was an honor for our team to play a program with such great tradition & a great community behind it. What you have achieved is what our coaches & players are striving for. Ya'll are a great example. I think the difference in the game was the 4th down situations for both teams. The rebels made their's count to the tune of 13 pts. & we just missed ours when we needed it. But I think the reb D had something to do with that. I'm pulling for you the rest of the way as I truly think you have the most integrity of any team I have seen since I've followed HS football Also, I wish Tyner's posters would finally put it to rest. They get on here & bad-mouth Chatt. Cent. constantly. There have been some overconfident pounder FANS who need to chill sometime, but I know one thing, Central's players had, before the game with Tyner & after the game, tremendous respect for the Ram players & coaches. Tyner & Maryville this year are the best teams that Central has faced in the 3 yrs. I have followed the pounders & I hope Tyner wins state, But the tyner posters I see on here could learn some class from the MHS fans I see here.

if the catch yall are talkin about was the one he made on our side line were he cought it one handed then i have to agree. we thought he droped it and all looked at each other with our mouths open when we relized what had ahppened. if he gets on here and reads this i have to say.....heck of a catch my hats off.

well it was close to an upset...but not close enough. great job central. i know that the crowd for maryville were a little quit there for awhile and im sure that they would have never thought they would be worried about us. im sure that the parents of some of the jv guys came to watch their kids play tonight. great game and yall have alot of class. good luck next week
