well why dont we all just stop fightin about somethin that is still yet to come either central will win or wont but i can promise you that the boys from maryville will know that we gave them all they wanted at the end. central by 6 good call barrelboy. and cornbread i hope your just playin around but if not you need to watch what you say...he may not be your friend but he is mine and all he did was state facts....your right we dont have a passing game those 800+ passing despaux has were just misprints.

yeah i think brent hayes form central has to be in there somewhere. he tore his acl this year but is already walkin on it and is even in the gym doin upper body. he is a beast 6'2'' 250 pound linebacker. you know it when you play central that you will have to key for hayes...that is if you want to run the ball any.

were you at the powell game stave? and all the other games that powell has won and all of maryvilles games? if not there is no way you can make a statement like that and expect for people to respect it.

remember...jones is a master mind at makeing plays and i feel like he has alot in that no one has seen. i dont know that for sure but i know how he is he is a great coach and he will be ready. HTV did a good job of caping off the team for you but ill remind you that just because thats the way it was for powell dont mean much to jones. he will have some of those guys doin other things and can teach this team stunts on o and d within two days and have them running it like they have all year. hes amazing and so is this team. should be a great one.

chatt. central over maryville

to name one person wouldnt be right. we are louded and under rated (contrary to what some may say) look for alot of impresive football from central this week. they are playing marryville for heaven sake they have nothing to lose so they are gonna bring the house. great game this week in maryville and i think you will be surprised HTV at who all we bring. and i doubt yall drought more to central then we did. maybe your including you big band? wich i must say was very good. i cant wait till friday.

lookin from the inside view jones is the best. i know that bein in the school now and the atmosphere that is at central about the team is totaly different now. two years ago when you would say the word playoffs it would be followed by a laugh or two but now its becoming common place. jones is a great coach and has done so much for this school on and off the field. ok so they have played some bad teams but you have to relize that 3 of those even wins were within the region and we cant change that. what is the excuse for us shutting down powell? the fact is that central has gone from a luaghing stoke to someone that you have to prepare for if you want to win. i would like to point somethin out also about the powell game. if jones wouldnt have been such a nice guy by takeing out odam and newby from the defensive line they wouldnt have scored. he took them two out and powell drove down field. he put them back in on about the 25 and the qb got pressured and took off on a scramble and dumped it off for a short pass that they ran down to about the 4. if he hadnt have done that they would have went 3 and out like they did most of the night. face it....jones is bringin central back and thats why he is the best.

yeah thats true, but then again central got beat by cleveland and cleveland got beat by a team that got beat by a team central killed this week. (powel-west) so its hard to go by that but im sure yall know that allready. central at rhea county and central vs. powell were two different teams totaly. i think if they bring it like they can i think they have a shot at it.

i think it will be a great game. i know maryville is gonna bring it like they always do but i think it will be a good one. i dont know what you mean by the "redneck" disrupting an offense....he was doing the same thing when central had the ball...you make it sound like we won because of it. i think central will keep it alot closer than alot of people think. i know that central repects maryville to the highest degree and wont be doin to much talkin but just comin out and bringin their best game. should be a good one...good luck rebels.

I must say that west surprised alot of us. i would have never thought this would happen. region 3 is really tough and they proved it. chatt. central is the only ones left and will go lookin to pull the upset at maryville and we are lookin forward to it. i cant wait to see the big town crowd show up from the small town of maryville. great job to west and i must say that i hope you keep goin till you play central in round 3

central is the last team left representing region 4 in the playoffs now. what are your thoughts on them goin to maryville? central played a flawless game vs powell but face a very tough team in maryville.

i think the best linebacker in the state went out in the 5th game when brent hayes got hurt. he is 6'2'' 250 pounds and runs a 4.7 40. he had 165 tackles as a sophmore and led the tri state area. he was second in the area before he got hurt this year. look for a big season from him next year.

yeah great job central yall played really well. i have to say that powell has alot of weapons. their QB is one of the best i have EVER seen in high school, he has it all. central played an almost flawless game and powell did really well. good game.

last year we had a guy named Marcus Toliver who played defensive end. he lost his helmet during a play and continued on his tackle and went head up with a tail back. he ran through the runner but he knocked out some of his teeth. just like kickin barefoot you know you take the chance of being hurt but its your desition. marcus could have stoped and not hit the guy but he made his own choice. i say that if the player plays more than just kicker then let him wear a cleat but if he dont and he would rather kick barefoot he cant right now because of the rules. i say let them change the rule and let the kickers who want to take the chance take it.

thanks alot pep. our defense is pretty fast and stought at times so maybe we can get the much needed pressure on him and make the big plays.

that QB must have a good arm cause he is in the paper for over 1000 passing. how does the powell defense look against the run?....the pass? this should be a great game and there will be a tailgate party at central at 5 around back and i invite anyone interested from either team to attend. its almost time for a big game.....this is what its all about baby.
