What baffles me in reading all this non sense is how could 10 different players (2 bench players who scored in double digits) score if the starters were left in the whole game. In order to score, a player must be on the floor. Something just isn't adding up here. Also, if the starters were left in then West Greene did a great job in the second half only getting outscored 43-27. I am also having a really hard time in believing Oxley and Grigsby played the whole second half only to combine for 2 points when they had 40 at halftime. IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT BASKETBALL you will understand what I am talking about. Although the majority of the people on here don't!

It is Senior Night for the Patriots TONIGHT! Hope there will be at least a respectable number of people show up for this game and honor these seniors who have went throught a lot since their freshmen year. This was a disappointing year because this team had the ability to win 6 or 7 games. Beating Seymour might salvage their season!

Looking at the numbers of the Harriman game, UC only threw the ball 12 times, and I can't even remember when the last time they did that. Coach Jessie definitely did them a favor because they still had 170 yards. We will see if their passing game is legit this week because it will be really tough to run against Seymour. Is Bennett a player or pretender?

Biggamer, I wouldn't be trashing Bennett too much on here. The kid a pretty good player. He has almost 1500 yards this year. Not too bad. From what I here, Coach Jessie is gonna spread the field and put the big, slow qb in shotgun and let him throw all over you!

Union County hasn't won 3 games in a row in at least 10 years. I realize this is against weaker competition, but you still got to go out and play. Harriman has been playing better of late, and they have Union County's full attentions. What are your thoughts on this game?

Now now Kevin, there is some talent down here in Union County. The team is just yet to bring it all together at the same time. They kind of showed a little bit of it against Pigeon Forge, but they just didn't do it the whole game. Once the running game gets going, they will be a dangerous team who could sneak up on somebody.

Both teams have had their fair share of bad luck this year. UC has been so close in every game, but they just can't seem to pull one out. Sooner or later their luck has got to change. Gibbs has played a tough schedule excluding Claiborne! Who will be heading in the right direction after this game?

Will someone tell me what the point of this thread is anymore? The Cokers and Palazzolas are gone to Morristown. They have been for almost 2 years. Everyone is happy where they are so just let it be. If you are going to write something on Coacht, let it be something that matters because this doesn't!

UC played as good as I've seen from an Union County team against Pigeon Forge. I just don't understand why no one is even considering them in this one. I believe they will go on the road and get the W this Friday. It all depends on which team shows up. They need another big game from Bennett, and need just a little bit of a running game to go with it. They will miss Bolden this week and from what I heard Lucas might not play either. Does anyone know what was wrong with him Friday night?

Jared did play at UC. He was Bennett's favorite target his freshmen and sophomore year. It was never an issue for Jared to play qb at Union County. After the Claiborne game in 2001, his dad decided that he was done with football at UC. That's a shame because Palazzola and Bennett would have been a great combo at Union County. Instead, the Cokers and Palazzola left to reunite with Frazier in Motown.

Someone said that Bennett was 16-32 for a little over 300 yards. No running game cost the Patriots. It was just the air attack again tonight. That is as well as I've seen them play in along time. Both teams left everything on the field. Great game and good luck to both teams.

If I'm not mistaken, Union County beat CAK in a scrimmage this summer, and they didn't even throw the ball. You better worry about your own games warrior.

Is Bennett playing in the game Friday night?

Bennett was knocked out of the game early in the 3rd, when the OLB dove and hit him late in the knee. It messed up his knee and tore his arm all to pieces after the other player threw him into the fence. Coalfield is a solid team, but they are cheap!

Can someone tell me why that Union County doesn't run more play action to help set-up the run? Whenever they throw, they just put Bennett in shotgun and let him make all the reads. They hardly ever pass of their power formations. Also, does anyone know if Bennett will miss any games?
