i played the whole game and i think that that lindsey kid showed no class right from the start of the game ,, because i tackled him as he was falling into the end zone in the first half and he kicked me twice ,and they saw him and called a personal foul on him . and with the incident with #72 it was the same thing , # 72 tackled him by the ankles and lindsey kicked him too , and he just kicked him back . so dont down us , when we didnt start it . and i aint downing u all either . im just statin the facts . and i helped every kid off the ground on the alcoa team. and im not sure about the after game incident so i wont comment on that . i went straight to the locker room . and i also want to know alcoa06 , which personal fouls went unnoticed by the refs , because i was out there and i want to know how much of the game i missed . and by the way u said" the behavior of those kids ", like the whole team kicked somebody in the head . go back and watch the game film i was #1 and tell me how my behaviors were on the field , since you're so good at judging behaviors. sorry if i affended anyone , i just dont want Cumberland Gap to get a bad wrap for no reason . and that was a hard fought game and a heck-of-an-effort by everyone who played ... and best of luck to all ..

I have a question . You all were referring to the "tackle box" earlier , and that cut blocks and roll blocks were legal in the box . but in the rule book , the "tackle box" is actually 5 yards down the line of scrimmage from the ball . and i have played in 2 games this year , when our defensive ends ( rushing around the outside ) were cut by tight ends well outside 5 yards from the ball .. why doesn't the refs ever call illegal blocks on those ? and ie3 i hope your son is ok . and like everyone else said that this sport has a high risk of injury . Last year in a scrimmage game i blew out my knee , making a simple cut behind one of my blockers ,and i tore my ACL and my miniscuss (cartlidge) very severely . and i had to miss all of football and basketball . but i have recovered and i am full speed, now . and give him words of encouragement , they may not seem to be much , but they help when someone is in pain .

anybody studied a cloudland game film ????? 3/4ths of the time the whole offensive line is off sides . if that aint home cookin i dont know what home cookin is .

Cumberland gap dresses about 25 , and like they said in the other reply ,, the panthers didnt get a single player from forge ridge ( the school that powell valley merged with to make cumberland gap ),, plus the gap is starting about 3 players that have never played before ., but they are coming around .
