Red Bank 17 White County 7 Rhea Co. beat Cleveland, so I think that gets us in the playoffs. But still.

Hard to tell if we played worse tonight than against Cookeville. One thing is for certain, we let them have the Region title. Oh sure, they're a very talented team and all. No disrespect intended to Red Bankers. Congrats. But man. I can't believe we did that.

I don't think they'll be 100%. Dell probably least of all, he'll have to shake the rust off. But I'm sure they won't disappoint.

I predict.... Red Bank by a touchdown.

Red Bank should be a favorite..... but that much of a favorite.

I'll have to do some research on Red Bank to have a prediction.

We grasped the momentum off of big turnovers late in the 2nd quarter. It carried over into the 3rd, and it was all good from there. Boy, Chattanooga Central has got one heck of a quarterback in that freshman. Other than the three interceptions, he was lights out. I don't like the thought of playing him three more times.

Hard to imagine that the Jets can pull a win out of this one. But we can always hope, can't we?

Brainerd is better than their record indicates. I pick them.

Yep, none of them played. Good showing by our defense tonight, Mother Nature with the all-pro assist. I shudder when I think of our offense against a real team, though (no offense to Brainerd fans, your D played well all night ). The Panthers' offense is quite unique, with trickerations and strategery. Who knows, with better conditions they may have given us quite a run for our money. And Cleveland lost tonight as well, so good news on that front.

Last night I had a dream that Sparta beat Brainerd 38-7. So I'll go with that prediction. It was also snowing heavily throughout the contest, so....

Indeed. Our defense really didn't have an answer for the Hixson Wing T until after Halftime. And by that time, our offense was too decimated to move the ball.

Yes, without JJ, Rett, and Dell the passing game is nonexistant, so they can stack up the line against the run. With Dell, that would not work, as he could bull through them in any event. But without those three players, we are an average team. We'll still make the playoffs, though.

About midway through the fourth quarter, he got run into by a Jet right after he punted the ball away. He lay on the field a good seven minutes before they helped him off the field.

Hixson looks to be a strong team, they score a lot of points. Coach Brown will have to get the team over their somewhat lackluster performance against Crossville, but with a Homecoming Crowd cheering them on I'd say we win this one.

Almost got it. Defense played pretty well tonight. Offense seemed fairly sluggish, with too many penalties. Mandell was missed on both sides of the ball. The loss of Rowland could spell problems, he's very good at his punter/reciever/defensive back roles.

Wonder what the chances of either of them being put in the same region as us. Might be nice to have a region game within a hundred miles.

I think it does mean a lot to us. Remember the "running up the score" allegations from the 2002 game, and how Crossville always brings a lot of fans down the mountain. They always want to start something too. So I think this is actually quite a big rivalry. I predict White County by 13.

I apologize for calling you an idiot. But really, before last night, they hadn't shown any indication that they could win out. Last night proved they could possibly do it, though I still find that unlikely. I'm going to revise my prediction from 6-4 up to 8-2.
