Oh, this game was so beautiful in every aspect of the game. Really brings a tear to the eye, to think that the Warriors could do such a thing. A whippersnapper like me hasn't seen a White County team this good.

Did anybody see if that officiating crew rode in on the short bus. With Warren County tags no doubt. Eh, solid showing from both sides of the ball tonight. Coach Brown just needs to crack down on the stupid penalties and we are looking very good for a run at a playoff spot this year.

It'll be a good one, that's for sure. And both counties will be well represented in the stands. I'm going to have to go homer on this one and predict a 6 point win for the Sparta boys. In any event, sure is good to see the Pioneers having some success. You deserve it.

Division I signees? I'm a big homer but I still don't see anything better than 7-3. Best case scenario there.

White County is looking to come into the new Region with style by winnng it all. Though I'd be satisfied with just a playoff berth.

We'll remember that when we meet. We're just like Dan Quayle, getting bigger and smarter all the time.

I've heard the Jets are expected to slide a bit from last year.

White County was a problem for the classification system. Last year, we were in 5-4A and our closest opponents were Tullahoma at just over an hour's drive. So we're an outlier where ever they put us, I guess. It's nice to get to travel to all parts of the state, though. Look forward to seeing more of the Chattanooga area.

As a newcomer, I don't know too much about 4-4A. But everyone I've talked to has been pretty keen on Cleveland, so I'll go with them. I think we can make a run at it, though.

Mmm, interesting. I was worried about moving to a new region like this and not knowing anything about the natives. Hopefully we can be more competitive than we were in 5-4A.

I'd like to play Livingston Academy again. At least it would be more interesting than playing Warren Co. every year.

Just saw on the scoreboard that (supposedly) the Warriors of White County beat the Shelbyville Golden Eagles, ON THE ROAD. 13 to 3. Is this some sort of sick joke? I miss my first WCHS game in 4 and a half years and it turns out to be one of the biggest upsets in memory? And if it is true, how can I ever be forgiven for my terrible sin?

I'd say Hillwood. And it is about stinking time somebody else took the 5-4A crown.

Indeed. I think we have a good chance to beat them, if we bring our A-Game. I'd say White County - 20, Cumberland County - 14.

Well, this Friday the Jets come to Warrior Stadium to take on White County. For Cumberland Co., it has been a disappointing start. 1-4. For White Co., not entirely unexpected at 2-3. Both are coming off of losses. Both should be hungry for a win to get themselves back on the right track at the midpoint of the season. Who shall triumph?

Cookeville will probably make it to the playoffs easily and then lose to some nobody team, just because THEY'RE COOKEVILLE. Oh well. At least you still have...... golf?
