  1. They played well inside tonight.
  2. You can tell your from Hampton LOL! That come back dosen't work there. I haven't made myself a fool. What I said is common knowledge to anyone in Carter County... And now back on topic; Unaka won tonight by about 13 at Mitchell County, NC. Jordan Lewis had at least 20. Hunter Taylor played well tonight also.
  3. I'm not saying they're not a good team. They obviusly are if the beat Cloudland by seven. But I've only seen one game in Greene County were the foul totals were not Heavily lop-sided in the home teams favor. I've seen one game were it was as bad as 37-8 for the home team. Had 4 players foul out in that game and two others with 4: In regulation!!! You can still win and say the refs were horribly lop-sided.
  4. No. the back-up from last year quit before the season, and this years back-up had surgury the other day. When did you talk to anyone on the team. I just can't see them being at a weight-lifting event
  5. If you played for a team outside of Greene County you would know you have to be at least 10 points better than the team you're playing in Greene County.
  6. Its in Greene County, so give the Lady Rebs AT LEAST 10 more points coming from the refs.
  7. Scine when was North Greene, West Greene, Elizabethton, Mo West, and Sullivan East "top ranked teams?"
  8. Then why are you fussing. That call helped you.
  9. I bet that there are at least 100 teams in Tennessee that would be 6-0 with the teams you guys have played.
  10. Well, I'd like to congradulate you and your boys. They've been through more than I can even imagine, and to finaly break through and get a conferance win, it must be great for ya'll... How do you think you will match up against Washburn?
  11. Well Hancock dosen't seem to be playing that well either.... We'll just have to see.
  12. Its the Tri-County seven. And there are seven teams in the Tri-County. So EVERY team makes the list... Making good use of that Hampton education, aren't you buddy? 1. Elizabethton 2. Cloudland 3. Erwin 4. Happy Valley 5. Unaka 6. Johnson County 7. Hampton
  13. Thats kinda like saying "until Culleoka actually does something, I don't want to hear another word about how good they are," isn't it???
  14. Greeneville ought to tear Cherokee apart. The only kid they have that can play is the the black kid (#32 i think)... This games will probably be over at halftime.
  15. West Greene lost cause they think they're a WHOLE LOT better than they really are.
  16. Won't be competitive with Unaka because Temple droped them... Go figure...
  17. Oh I don't have a doubt about the players at all. Every team in the conferance knows Hampton has the best raw talent, but that talent can't coach its self...
  18. No, its right. Its the All-Region team as voted by the six coaches.
  19. That may be the case with the large city public schools, but in rural counties, a coach dosen't make squat. Say here in Carter County, a coach has one of the lowest teaching salaries in the state, plus the coaching suplament is 500, maybe 1,000 dollors. If a coach/teacher got an offer from a private school (or even another public school system), it would be hard to turn down, especially if you had a family you were providing for...
  20. That makes WAY to much sense.... But, then again, you come to expect stuff like that from ANYONE associated with the T$$AA.
  21. Maybe if Leon's dad was head of the school board he would have
  22. Well, private coaches aren't neccisarily better than public coaches. BUT private schools have alot more $$$ to wave at good coaches than public schools. Look at Brentwood Academy. They paid Pitts more money than some colleges were offering him...
