Am I wrong in thinking that DI private school atheletes can receive money from work programs at the school. These programs include things like running the clock at middle school games, taking up money at the gate, etc. If I am wrong in this please let me know.

I agree on most points. They lost 3 straight and one of those was to a team they should have beaten. they also won 3 they could have easily lost. I'm fairly certain the players didn't have a vote on the rankings. So I guess it comes down to the definition of pretender.

First of all 5-sport dad is not the Bradshaw young man's father. Secondly the Bradshaw young man didn't go through the line to shake hands because he was being treated by the trainer. If you guys want to get personal with each other that is great, but leave the students out of it.

Greenbrier High School gym is the worst bar none.

It would be hard and a mistake to overlook Greenbrier's Roger Herndon for the 3A Mr. Football award. I realize its not a most vauable award, but this guy does everything every Friday. Opposing defenses have spied him all year long and he still has over 1,400 yerds rushing so far. Good luck to him and the Mighty Bobcats!!!

Enjoyed a nice evening at Sycamore. Got treated nice, the game went well, hopefully neither team had injuries. That makes it that much harder to complain, but I will. The public address announcer was worst I have ever heard. When Greenbrier ran an offensive play there was never a players name announced or how many yards the young man got. It was obvious he got worse and less forth coming with information about the Bobcats as the score went against Sycamore in a big way. Granted he wasn't that great or communicative for the War Eagles either. Guess Greenbrier has gotten spoiled by Butch Savage and their public address crew over the past few years. Sure is sad to see someone who is in such a public position to be so biased. Good luck to Sycamore for the rest of the year. THe Garza young man is fun to watch, unfortunately it is obvious he does not have the supporting cast he had last year.

Looking forward to playing Sycamore next month. Hope you guys get good tickets for the team in Murfreesboro cause they wonb't be playing in the championship game. Of course Greenbrier may not be there either.
