how about gallatin now having hillwood and nashville overton in region 5-5A with hendersonville, glencliff, mcgavock, hunters lane, and antioch.....talk about a tough region to win

im proud of all my guys on gallatins football team. i played last year and had to suffer the indignity of losing to hunters lane and watching them dance on our G. i wish i could have been there to watch hunters lane go down but sadly i had to work. im proud of gallatins team and cant wait to see what they do against beech and in the playoffs.

as a senior at gallatin im now a former football player but i think that playing in cold weather is the best. you wont have to worry about getting too hot and sweating too much and cramping up. as long as the guys that play keep stretched out on the sidelines they will be fine. i would give anything to be out there playing in the cold weather with short sleeves on. im going to the hendersonville-centennial game tonight but since i dont go to either school im gonna be keeping myself nice and warm and leaving my clothes on. i wish we were playing in that game tonight but you cant fight the tssaa. they have a lot of experience screwing people over

ive said it before and ill say it one more time.....we arent whining, we are stating facts. you want to talk bad about us come to gallatin and find any senior football player and do it.

im not a kicker but when im just messing around kicking a ball with team mates or friends i prefer to kick barefoot cause i have more control of the ball and i get more height and distance on my punts.

gallatin is definitely the best team not in the playoffs. we beat the crap out of just about everybody we played....whether the score showed it or not. and for those of you that are basing your opinions of us on what happened in the hunters lane game.....lets play that game over again and see what happens. i guarantee a different outcome. i know that there are a whole lot of teams that are glad to see us out of the picture and that is all the respect i need.

well guys looks like its about time to close this thread down. the only point of the law suits now is to change the rules for upcoming years. everything for this year is over and done with and there is no use talking about it anymore. heck by next week we wont even have lockers anymore......everything will just be another memory. but even though my last year didnt work out too well (thanks for nothing tssaa) i will still cherish my time as a high school football player at gallatin high school. for those of you who have played for gallatin you know there is nothing like running out into the pit on friday nights. its kinda fun to think back on all the memories from our four years (chris hall relays, scalded dogs, camp ROW, the brentwood game, smyrna last year, and just all the fun times joking around at practice and in the locker room) no mater what the tssaa does they cant take away our green wave pride. i want to thank all of our coaches and fans who have made the experience of playing for gallatin the best time of my life. 04

fhsrebel...we werent trying to mess up anything for anybody else. we just wanted what we worked for four years to earn....our region championship and shot at a state championship in our senior season. some of the eams that are now in the playoffs would have never been there if this crap hadnt happened to us. they didnt earn the right to be there and they sure dont deserve to be there.

has anybody heard anything about the ruling today?? i am sick today so i didnt go to school or practice so i dont know what went on. if anybody finds out about it post it quickly. im anxious to find out if this whole year was a waste.

to all of you that keep saying that we need to take it like a man and move on why don tyou try having your final year of high school football totally screwed up cause some guy that has never met you got mad after his team got the crap kicked out of them. thanks to all of you that have been supporting us cause we need all the support we can get. but to all of you that keep talking crap about us and have never had anything to do with our program, dont talk about something you know nothing about. when you have been in our situation then you can talk bad about us.

hey anybody that can go to the appeal hearing get out there and help right a terrible wrong. everybody knows that the tssaa is always trying to get somebodyso it sure could be your school next.

hunters lane is nothing but a bunch of punks. you want to have your team huddle right next to ours?? you want to dance on our sacred G?? yall better be glad that we have class and classy coaches cause we were about to rip every one of yall a new one. but guess what. the guys that are juniors and sophmores play at yalls place next year. and you can guarantee that im gonna be there right behind yalls bench decked out in gallatin attire making my presence known. and all of you that want to call us crybabbies come into our locker room and say that to our faces and see if you make it out.

i am another gallatin player and i happen to be one of our many seniors. this really stinks for all us our players but mostly for us seniors. we dont have another chance after this year. for some coach that was mad cause we kicked the crap out of them to turn us in for some crap like this is utterly wrong and cowardly. mcgavocks coach needs to grow up and start acting like a man. its not right to mess with a teams future just cause you dont like the fact that one of your players now attends that school. hey mcgavock coaches, do yall have any idea what its like to walk around in a community and hear people calling you liars and cheaters for something that isnt your fault and never should have happened?? you have seriously upset off our whole town and i dont think you wanted to do that cause you have just got the whole state to turn against you. and as for your fellow nashville compadres we are gonna prove that we are the best of 5-5A. i know that i personally cant wait to get to friday night and start bustin heads. and as for the tssaa have some common decency and admit that you messed up and correct your mistake. everybody knows you screwed up so just be men and fix your screwup.

i believe that its not just one coach that is the best. i believe those honors go to the entire staff at gallatin. any of our coaches will do just about anything to help one of their players. some of us dont have the best home lives and they give us the father figure that many of us lack in our lives outside football. im grateful to play for a team like gallatin that has such a caring staff.

that was the second best game i have ever been a part of. the first being gallatin brentwood two years ago. its good for us to have that bye week so we can heal up some of our injuries. i messed up my jaw last night on the play where smyrna fumbeled on the goal line.

what about excessive pressure to perform from coaches and parents. anybody have anything to say about that

i never said it was too much for me. i have a lot more stuff going on than football and i can handle it just fine

both teams have outstanding defense's but i think lincoln county's offense is gonna be too much for riverdale
