  1. Talked to the Duke and UNC scouts. Haven't even heard of a Zack Crawford.
  2. Jon Cook from CCS. One of the best all-around players in the Chatt. area.
  3. I have never heard of Bush nor Ricketts. If they are as good as they say they are then Soddy might have a winning season next year. Get a new coach and have youth on your side. The future is looking bright in Soddy.
  4. Temple may not be the team they was in the past but they still will beat Boyd and I think they will be playing in the Region Finals against CCS. Best of luck to Coach Wadley. I would also like to see you in Murfresboro again.
  5. Listen atn301, I was making a prediction. I like doing that kind of thing unlike you getting on here bashing post. Other than that the Bears coaching staff is going to wear brown sweaters and their will be approximately 300 hotdogs sold.
  6. As much as I want my alumni to win I will have to go with Baylor unless someone on the McCallie team can stop Adams. I sure hope the McCallie fans (do you guys still go with Spirituals) turn out for the game. You can count on me being there.
  7. Rhea County could do it on one of their hot nights but Bradley has to have a off night. Cleveland could but would have to shoot 80% from the field and Bradley not hit a lick. I don't see either one happening though because the Bears usually play their best ball around tourny time.
  8. Bradley-85 McMinn-64 Bears Hare-21 Pickel-16 (4-3pointers) Pugh-14 (12 rebounds) Hammonds-12 Cherokees J. Smith-22 M.Smith-12
  9. I have lived in the Chattanooga area for nearly 15 years now and I would still have to say Memphis has more, well-rounded talent than any other section in the state. Chattanooga, Nashville, and Knoxville are all about the same as far as talent wise goes with maybe Nashville having a slight edge over the other two.
  10. First of all I thought it was a hard fought, well-played game. If you thought the fans were bad then you should have come to one of my games back in the good ole days when Baylor was (still is) our rivial. And Baylor by no means was dirty then. Yes, I will agree, Adams didn't play his best ball but he still had 24. I still think he is one of the best juniors in the state and underrated if anything.
  11. Very good post mixitup. It is sort of like pick your poison. Take your pick- Pickel, Hare, Brown, Pugh, or Hammonds. Heck Wes can shoot the three too. Looks like they have all the ingredients for a championship. Go Bears!
  12. No problem Robert. It might take a while for Trey to get back in the flow of things but he is a hard worker and could return to the kind of player he was before the injury. Best of luck to Trey and the Red Raiders the rest of the season.
  13. Do you know when it was last updated?
  14. I would have to go with Kellen too. Although his teammates can attribute a lot to his success by making other teams focus on them instead of just him. Hammonds, Hare, Brown all can shoot the three too but I don't think they shoot it better than Pickel.
  15. Just for the record: Bradley Central-2304 Walker Valley-950 Cleveland-1167 Ooletwah-1593 McMinn Co.-1381 The number of students at each school could be wrong but that is what it says on this site.
  16. Mnewballer21 has a very good point. As a matter of fact I do remember seeing his name in the paper for scoring. I still can't say he is one of the best in the area because I haven't seen him play enough to know how good he is. He could be putting 20+ every night and taking a lot of shots or score a lot against a terrible team I don't know. Like baller21 said two guys from Siverdale Baptist are scoring well above 20. The only game I remember seeing him play in was against Central and he had like 15. Anyways here would be my top five. Jonathan Adams-Baylor Charles Little-Cleveland Courtney White-Ooletwah Charles Sanders-Brainerd Yarrish Hammonds-Bradley Central
  17. Sounds like a continual thing for Central. Wasn't it Central that everybody said was classless in football?
  18. While I haven't seen all of the nominees play (mainly the ones in West TN), out of the ones I have saw it would be either Tyler Smith or Jonathan Adams. Smith is just a pure athelete and plays to level he has to. Adams is probably the best all around player I have seen. The reason I am probably going with them is because Smith stacked up 34 points against one of the best teams in the state (Bradley) and I have watched Adams enough to know what he is capable of.
  19. Robbie Cornelius plays for Meigs and that is about all I know except he plays football too. Personally I would like to see Charles Little and Jonathan Adams go head to head. I think Little has a slight edge at the post but Adams can be deadly from the outside. Another player that has not been mentioned (and for good reason) is Adams fellow junior teammate Trey Tindell. He has been out this year with some kind of back trouble from my understanding. Don't forget he was one of the top sophomores in the state last year. I wish Trey and speedy recovery (if that is what is holding him out) and look forward to seeing you play in the future.
  20. Well does anybody have any stats on the game?
  21. I thought this was already a done deal. I thought Clinton cancelled the Bradley Central game and picked up McMinn County. They have already played McMinn twice. So no I don't think they play. But then again I could be wrong so someone please clarify.
  22. Walker Valley has been playing good ball lately and putting a lot of points up on the board. They like to keep it up tempo and put a lot of ball pressure on teams. However I think Ooltewah likes an up tempo game too and will be able to handle the Mustang pressure. Owls win this one by 5.
  23. Yes, I agree both are great players and probably have had offers from Lee University. But I think (just my opinion) that Kellen and Ryan are probably going to get better offers in baseball. While I am sure both players are keeping their options open I have heard that Kellen might be leaning toward MTSU. Could be just a rumor though. Not so sure about Ryan though.
