First off i would just like to say that Coach Joyner is probably one of the best coaches i have ever played for or seen. He is also very fair when it comes to who makes the team and who doesn't. I have seen this for myself. And as far as politics, that is ridiculous. It doesn't matter who your parents are or who you are. All that matters is if your good you make the team and if your not, you don't. Now i don't know what your grudge is but it seems as though you have one. Possibly you have a son who didn't make the team, I don't know. But by you saying the things you have, you are not only bashing Coach Joyner and the baseball team, you are bashing the City of Milan as well. So please think about what you are saying before you post next time.

No one is making excuses. Why would i have to make excuses when Camden won the game. I didn't get on here to run any team down or make excuses. I simply stated that I thought camden would have had a little more success scoring if it hadn't been so wet.

First off I am not taking anything away from Lewis County, because they are a great football team. But if the game would have been played on a dry surface i don't think Lewis County would have been able to catch Camden. Boyd was about one step away from breaking open a long run many times, but it was like he just couldn't get going because it was so muddy. Again i don't want to take anything away from Lewis County, but that's just my opinion.

I know that Camden held Westview to 7 points and Huntingdon to 6 points and that is great. But this is a totally different team that they are playing this week. It doesn't matter that they held Chris Donald to 40 yards rushing. This week they aren't going to have to tackle Chris Donald. So let's not get to excited until Camden wins the region. And Camden fans don't take this post wrong cause i am a HUGE Camden fan. I just don't want everyone to get caught up in what has happened in the past. The Camden players just need to concentrate on one game at a time and not worry about how great they played against Huntingdon and Westview. Stewart Co. is next and they shouldn't be taken lightly. Anyone can be beaten on any given night. With all that being said, i say Camden-24 SC-6 GO LIONS!!!!!

For all of you blaming coach joyner for this injury i think you should get the facts. Jonathan threw no where near 120 pitches his frist outing. He threw in the mid 80's. I know this for a fact because my dad keeps the books and the pitch count. Once again please don't come on here just looking for a reason to bad mouth coach joyner. Jonathans injury came from him throwing twice every weekend last summer. I know this because i am a good friend of Jonathan. So i dont know where everyone got that Jonathan threw 120 pitches but you are terribly wrong. My dad will get the stats from all the games that Jonathan threw this year and i will repost his pitch count for all the games.

All of you that are downing coach Joyner obviously know nothing about him. Coach Joyner would never put someones future in jeopardy for his personal record. Coach Joyner's personal record is outstanding, and i know that he cares way more about the well being of his players than his records. I played for coach Joyner and i can promise you that the only reason J. White pitched that long was because he told Coach Joyner that he wanted to stay in. So please don't post opinions that down a coach, only post the facts.

I don't mean to start anything because this is in the past, but i think that the Milan team of 2004 could match up with just about anyone. That is the most talent that i have ever seen on one team. 41-3 with one of the toughest schedules in the state. You can't get much better than that. I would have loved to see Milan play Farragut, that would have been a great game. Im sure there will be some people to disagree with me but that's just my opinion.

I also like when a player is being subbed out and as he is walking to the bench everyone yells step...step...step...SIT DOWN! But they usually catch on to that so they get to the bench and act like they are going to sit down but they keep standing. Then you yell....HE'S GOT HEMROIDS....CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP. Another one i like is at the end of the game everyone gets there keys and yells START THE BUS!

Hey hey hey....Please stay off my boy westtn2004states back. He actually knows what he's talkin about. Milan should have won the last game but they were outcoached down the stretch. They contained Boo Weathers all night long but were unable to stop Donald. I think this time they will come out ready for both Boo and Donald, and Coach Morris will make the correct calls to win the game. Milan should have won the past 3 years in the playoffs. Especially 2 years ago. That was probably the best team Tennessee has seen in a long time. Huntingdon just played them when they had their worst game of their lives. Milan comes away with a victory and plays the winner of Goodpasture vs. Camden. Ill be pulling for my Camden team in that one. Sincerely, ClosaVanGogh

Ok i will clarify this for all of you. I am Coach Ward's nephew and i can assure you that he is no where near 50. He graduated from Milan High School in 1987. He is in his mid 30's. And if his brother told you that he was 50 then im sure my dad was just playing. Thats just how us Ward's are. lol O yea and GO LIONS!!! I'll be there cheering you guys on to bring home the region championship.

necvol you evidently have absolutely no sense. Yes John White is a humongous part of our team. He is deffinetly our ace and gives us a pop at the plate, but all of our other guys dont just stand by and watch the game. You need to think about things before you post. Im sure if you asked John White he would tell you that he doesnt do it by himself. I know there have been a couple of games this year that he has pitched in, and the other team hit him pretty well but the defense picked him up. So please before you ever post on coacht again get your facts right.

You have lost your mind. If milan pitched J. White and CC pitched their "ace", Milan would kill them. I have seen milan face way better pitchers than that guy and they killed him. Milan just couldnt get the bats going. If Milan pitches J. White and their bats are hot, they can beat ANYONE!!!!

Sounds like sour grapes to me. You have to give credit to Milan. They got Xavier Webb in foul trouble. I know that you are gonna be mad cause they were undefeated, and I would be to. But Milan does deserve some credit.

What is everyones prediction on tonights game? I know everyone is gonna take West Carroll because of Xavier, but i think Milan can win just because there guards are better. If Xavier scores 40 then so what. As long as the other guys don't score that much then its alright.

I just looked in the Jackson Sun him and Ward both had 7 points. I love watching these two play. They are pretty much alike, they both are very smart and get the ball where it needs to be, and they score when there team needs them to. I can't wait till the district championship. Milan and Lexington both brought great crowds last night. Im sure that the next time these two play it will be a good one.

Milan scored 3 in the bottom of the 7th to pull away with a 7-6 victory. This was a great game by both teams. A game that myself and many others will remember for a long time.Milan will play Humboldt Monday night at Bulldog field.
