why is everybody counting Kingston out.....they return 3/4ths of their team next year. They were very good last year and didn't play to their best ability all year....All im saying is don't count us out this year...We still gonna be able to handle everything yall throw at us....even if its a big L....we still gonna play yall with our best effort.

Well Unless you are Lieing...then LA is considered to be a CONTENDER to me....Oh yea and if you are counting Freshmans turing to Sophs. then they better be ready.....U have to be exceptional to be a sophmore owned team and come in and Contend for a Region title.....No Respect Yet ...but you do have my eye on you....Still that was then this is now....And we have not been beat up on..Those 2 teams in our region that actually beat us could beat any 3a team is the state...1 has proven that the past 2 yrs...the other had 2 consecutive undefeated seasons...So yea LA can come in and take over.....Fulton whooped Smith County and put it on here that they were equivalent to Kingston...we don't ran over....The better,more TALENTED, who could beat anyone in the state team wins....But go out, work hard,and PROVE ME WRONG!!!! Not puting this team down....Just saying your gonna have to impress me alot by sayin that you are gonna come in and get a playof spot....I think your sadly-mistaken there....Alot of Talented teams will come up a little short of the post-season this year. Not saying your one ....BUT saying its gonna be a DOGFIGHT.

Yea....If we was in Region 3 we would compete for the title every year......We play with the big boys....Whether the score says it or not.....Kingston ALWAYS comes with a fight and we might not win our Region but we get and EARNED our Respect from Fulton and AE....Those Teams know that If they come in and play with us without any heart..then they are in for 1 thing.....An Upset. U gotta earn Respect in this Region buddy....Even Scott County(who has been at the bottom) of the region will kick your butt if you dont come in Ready for a fight....So think what you want about Kingston..but we get our respect in this region....We EARNED it.....Now LA has yet to even play on the field with one of our teams....but you will see it is not an easy road After All my friend.....In this Region,You can have all the potential in the world and still get beat on any given Friday...You'll see

The playoff spots are up for grabs.....AE-Loses ALOT,but ALWAYS reloads.AC-Were Young but lost the positions that count. You all are underrating Kingston. They can beat any team in this region next year. They loss their quaterback#11,RB#9,a WR#3,and 2 linemen #69 and # 56 other thatn that not really anybody else....I think they come in 1st,2nd,or 3rd definitely. Put It Like this THEY MAKE PLAY-OFFS

Im Not Whining about the last 2 years...I am just saying that Kingston has better players returning than Rockwood has . Kingston was a fairly young team last year mostly with juniors and sophmores. Rockwood has been lead by Seniors the last 2 years in a row. Kingston will have ALOT of Seniors this year. So it all has to do with experience and talent.

You ARE CRAZY!!!.Kingston only lost 5 players that actually played a role on the team. If it wasn't for Tre' Pendergrass,Cory Payne,and Dan Chandler then KINGSTON would have won last year.

Chad Johnson from Kingston. He should have made Honorable Mention this year but the team doesn't turn in stats. He ended up with 206 carries-1346 yds. 200 recieving yds. and 11 TDs.

Kingston Lost 9 seniors..this year you may be thinkin thats alot BUT..Only 5 started and the rest just filled the roster.....They are also gonna have some key players back:#34 Chad Johnson(RB-LB),#10 Justin Givens(QB-DB),#16 Kyle Adams(WR-DB),#14 Reed Quillen(WR-DB),#7 Josh King(RB-DB), #68 John Martin (OL-DL), #54 Brandon Quillen( OL-LB),#77 Justin Hill(OL-DL),and # 52 Mitch Brown(OL-DL).....Like Everyone in Region 2 3A says KINGSTON is NEVER UNDERESTIMATED..

What would you expect for a running back that is under 6 feet tall, and wieghs over 200 lbs....or what is good times for running backs. I've heard a running back 200 lbs. and over is 4.5-4.7 speed. and anything under doesn't have the weight to play the position at the next level. The fact of the matter is that you have so many different types of running backs that u can't really determine what with speed.It all comes from the heart of the player and his potential to get better..Thats waht colleges are looking for...Also they are looking for a player on the field and in the classroom too. Their are too many good athletes in america for a college to recruit the dumb or ignorant ones.

Jeff westbrooks #56 , Mitch Brown #52, and Chad Johnson #34 all from Kingston . Mitch and Jeff are to Really good linemen and Chad had almost 1400 yards rushing and 12 TDs...about 1600 yards all-purpose yards.

grundy-portland will have athens association refs. Look for HORRIBLE officiating if this is the case. We had a bunch from Athens when we played Loudon and it was so bad at times it was comical. We we in a goal line defense on one play and our linebacker (who by the way was not blitzing) was called for an offsides penalty. Maybe you will get a better crew since its playoff time. Who makes the All-ROANE COUNTY team...Remember about the Player of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year ,and Freshmen of the Year....

I think Kingston takes this one by about a touchdown or more if they play to their potential....If not it may come down to the same case as last year...When that kicker hit that 48 yd. FG with 04.62 seconds left......I still think about that somtimes.

I also heard that there was in fighting between members of the team and that alot of the players are upset with the coaches because they were going to Clinton to pick up a couple of kids on the team everyday. Supposedly the TSSAA is involved and they may have to forfeit their wins. All this is rumor, but something has to be amiss to go from winning 6 games to losing the way they are.

I think we take this one. Emotions will be running high and a win means #2 in the region with home field advantage for the playoffs.

We don't need excuses. Rockwood just beat us. I wouldn't say that Johnson was shut out though, he had about 90 yards against your Tigers. Sounds like a pretty good night to me; but thats my opinion. I also think the game would have a different outcome if we played you later in the season, but thats water under the bridge also. Johnson has accomplished much more that Harvest or Pendergrass with a less talented line, my vote still goes to him.
