I support Beech. BTW. It is good to see Portland back in the playoffs. It is good to see the eagles back in the playoffs as well although they have only played one team with over 5 wins and got spanked by G,ville. May be hard to beat a good team in the playoffs when you play such an easy schedule.

i see this as a close game, like others have posted i think a 17-14 type score. i think WC comes out on top, but WC almost got upset by Portland before losing to Beech so an upset may be on the agenda by SC. should be a playoff type atmosphere tonight.

Potsy, you are as slow as the mail in westmoreland, i picked your eagles to win in my post...i could care less about Macon. i then said they (eagles) would lose in the first round of the playoffs because you are westmoreland and that is what your team/staff is known for doing. Losing in the playoffs no matter how good of a team you have.

westmoreland may win this game; like the postal service in motown.. macon is terrible! the district is down across the board this season so i dont see any of the teams making it out of the 1st round of the playoffs.

i believe Portland sat out three starters maybe 5 against Westy in that jamboree so it is hard to compare. Eagle's defense has been winning games although you will need offense to beat White House. i have a feeling the blue devils will have a chip on thier shoulders this week and will take out some frustrations against the Eagles. on the other hand, BDP may have dropped and be ripe for the kill. i am going to say White House by 14.

well i could be wrong... but my reasoning is as follows. Portland could pull out a win against both WC and Lebanon and may win the non-district games. Gallatin on the other hand has a rookie head coach, rookie DC, (not sure about the OC) If the first half of the season doesnt go well they may pack in the second half, overall record could possibly be worse than Portland in that senerio.

Cheatham County has one of there best teams, their option game is really good. As far as the portland scrimmage goes the varsity score was 2-2 and only 4-2 overall. then i hear Portland shutout Macon Co 5-0. i would agree that they probably had a pretty good spring.

simple solution is to decide to play up to 5A. you would be placed in the MTJ, HHS, SC, and Lebanon district. problem solved.

i heard the same thing about portland... i read another thread that Gallatin was smoked by Riverdale. did Beech have another scrimmage? i thought they were scrimmaging Dickson Co. but i could be wrong. any other 9AAA updates? could be an interesting Fall.
