I agree. No offense to Van Buren Co , as they really played well today. Pickett Co was at least 20+ points better than VBC. They really embarrassed them on their home floor at sub state last year. I'm picking a South Greene vs Middleton final after watching so far.

. 1-4 in 7-A was pretty close, Pickett Co was not just your average run of the mill 4th place team. Just don't think this was the case here.

I have been saying for years that Tech should recruit a lot more than they do from the Upper Cumberland. After Worrell retired, it just came to a end, and look what the program has done since. Great signing by TTU!

Clarkrange was not undefeated going into state that year.

I was actually surprised to see JC beat Upperman at their place earlier this year. I think that was the point that UCSportsFan was trying to make; that coaching and experience is why JC won. Upperman has obviously improved since early in the year.

West has for sure came to play the last two years, after years of coming in with nice regular season records and going home empty handed. I would say western is the favorite till someone brings it back home where it has been so many times. (7A)

You must be the type to get upset over the AP rankings too. Give it time, this ranking is normally really close by the end of the year.

Phillips for Jackson Co getting in early foul trouble and getting hurt later in the game was huge in this game. He is a pretty big part of their offense. Clay played pretty darn good like usual.

Not really interested in your negativity. I think his resume 600 or so wins and 7 state championships speak for his basketball knowledge. Knew the haters would be jumping on. Jealousy is really getting bad by a few people on here.
