It looks like it could be another nasty Friday night. It shouldn't phase these boys. They are use to it by now. I am going to say Bucs by 21.

Marion is a better team than Tyner. They should win this game.

I will be listening tonight. Nights like tonight are where good defenses step up and win games for the team. The field conditions will make for a tough night for the offenses. Bucs by 21

That was a good game Friday. I knew these kids had it in them to be a good team. Marion County has a very good team as well. I watched the news video of the kid getting hit a few times. There is no way with a play going full speed and a kid getting spun around that another kid was able to target a moving object that accurately. The kid shouldn't have dropped his head because he could easily hurt himself as well as others. I played for Coach Reynolds and he does not teach dropping your head to tackle. I believe it was an unfortunate play that happens some time. Hope #4 has a speedy recovery.

Game time is 7:30. Reaction, thanks for cranking up the Hurricane machine. Nice work once again to get the job done.

Gonna be nasty tonight, just plain nasty. I know this one is going to be tough on our young men tonight. The weather will probably keep several at home on the couch. That's too bad because I was expecting the biggest crowd in awhile at The Swamp.

This one is going to be fun. Two good teams going at it this week. I'm happy how much we have improved since the first half of last season. Better get there early this week.

I saw some film. I remember back when The Kings Academy was one of the worst teams in the state. That's not the case anymore. They had one kid sign college last year and from what I seen they have several good play makers and plenty of size and speed. We will win the game but this team is not a bad team for sure.

Watched Marion play this season vs Sale Creek over at Mr. Davenport's field. I agree the new Marion coach is impressive. Marion County has the best team in 2A and shows it tonight. Marion County by 10

I hope we get back to pounding the ball ahead at the other team like we did when I was in school. Last night we had chances to seize control of the game and go up multiple scores. We didn't take advantage and now we get to dribble round brown balls.

Tough loss for us. Bucs weren't very good this season and Rockwood was just a little better tonight. Too much passing.

Rockwood always plays my Bucs tough. This one will be too. Bucs find a way in the end to win by 1.

Bucs by mercy. Sea chickens got one coming on Friday. We are starting to show signs of life.

No doubter huh? Whatever Boyd will win this game by 10. We are getting better and better. What would Copper Basin's record be if you had played our schedule? Any better than our current 2-5?

I have never seen Boyd out recruiting players. Yes we have students that come from around the area but recruiting them? As a matter of fact we routinely lose students after the 8th grade to other private schools and public schools. Schools that recruit can offer financial aid. Boyd doesn't offer this like the Division 2 schools. If anyone recruits its more the students and parents by word of mouth. There is my rant. Now for this game. I pick the Bucs 99.9% of the time but we are struggling this year so I won't pick against us but I'm not picking us to win either.

The kid that plays on our middle school is 6"4 300. South Pitt is usually good at home. Boyd isn't what we have been. I usually pick the Bucs in this game. SP at home and the fact we are 1-5. Win for pirates. Loss for Bucs

It's good news that we are getting healthy. It looks like the paper is already chalking up tonight as a loss too. They said we are 0-5 already. This team is going to be fine moving into the second half of the season. It has some playmakers that have been sidelined but now they are slowly getting back in the lineup. Injuries to 5 or 6 starters have really hurt this team in the early going.

Love the Bucs but were in trouble Friday.

The Bucs are pretty beat up right now. I was told we have multiple starters out again this week. You going tonight Reaction?

The Bucs are much improved this year, but 2015 is when they could be really good. This year the seniors are 1 OL, 2 WR, 1 RB on offense and 2 DL, 1 LB and 1 DB on defense so Reaction was right with the comment about 3-4 starters. 7 seniors on the team and only 5 play any snaps at all.
