I found my way over here to check in on my Pirate peeps. I see that at least one of you is still as crazy, loud and flamboyant about his feelings as ever. Some things never change.. he is going to be heard lol. I am sure he means well though. Anyway I hope you guys have a great year. I miss those great SP and Boyd games from back in the day. Especially those from about 2000-2004. Good luck this week.. oh wait never mind. I see that you guys are playing one of our old region foes as well. Tough times it sounds like in the Copper Mines.

It was good to start 2-0 but things get much harder this week. If we can get this win vs CAK we should be 5-0 when CGR comes to town. I like our running game a lot this year. It reminds me of some of our old Buc teams that ran the ball so well. We have a stable of running backs so were in good hands there. The late addition of that LB is nice too. That kid is the real deal.

Rankin is a legend. I just hated to see CGR end up on Charger Drive that's all.

Well the source was correct. I hate to see Coach Grant Reynolds wearing lightning bolts. Boyd should have never let him walk. It's personally a sad day for me to see him at the rival school.

I do not know. I just know I hate to see it happen. As a Boyd alum I have never been a fan of the lightning bolts.

I know Scott Chandler personally. Manes is a bright upcoming coach, but Chandler called that 2022 Tyner defense.

Looking back it sounds this guy has never been given a chance. He was written off from the start with zero support. Was there a point when anyone ever bought into his beliefs? He went into a cess pool where nobody in the community wanted him. This was not very smart by him to enter himself into a no win situation without any type of support. I met him at Boyd Buchanan this season. Seemed liked an outstanding mentor of kids. He said all the right things anyway.

Doesn't he have players from all over the southeast?

He has no class. I bet Dilfer gets cucked regularly.

I wish we were in the A division. Our season is over tonight at CPA. We are going to finish 7-4. We finished 7-4 with Sir Cardinal Cardwrong in 2016 and a first round exit. Then we finished 8-3 with Jeremiah Boskow in 2019 ad a first round exit. Will we ever get past the first round again? I am a Rankin fan but I expected so much more from this season on Buccaneer Drive. To say I am disappointed is the understatement of the year.

I don't care about all this nonsense in here. All I care about is that we don't get the old guy regardless of his accolades. Go to East Brainerd right now and bring home our coach! I am for Coach Grant Reynolds coming home to Boyd. I know I speak for the majority of our alumni, and donors as well.

I am hearing a lot of things and I might be in the minority but I would rather have one of our own. Namely CGR and that doesn't mean the Rankin guy. I know what he has accomplished but how long will we get him? I heard he was already early 70's. Boyd shouldn't have to look far for this hire. They should go over to East Brainerd and find their guy. What a crock! Stupid president at the time messed this up back in 2016.

I hope Boyd brings back Reynolds. We use to have a good program and now we just suck. I want Coach Reynolds back in charge of our entire school. He needs to be our president. Coach Reynolds would you come back?

What's SP going to do? Our football stinks and I am tired of it. I want BBuch to bring back some of the good coaches we have had in the past. I also miss the rivalry with SP. I heard our current coach and maybe another coach turned down SP to play. We should be playing you every year. Tell your coach to start playing us again or better yet just come back.

What is going on here? We had some studs this year and didn't win at all. Is the coach staying or going? I am hearing a lot of chatter from the swamp. Mrs. Clevenger is leaving the school. Who will be our new President? I vote to bring Robbins back as president or Reynolds. Either Reynolds can be head coach or let him bring Stone in as the head coach if he is president. I believe they are friends and worked well together for a few years here. We should have been better this season. Our kids should be able to beat a lot of the teams in our division. I watched the state games live and I am not saying we should be able to beat those two teams but we should be able to beat about everyone else. I am getting tired of losing all the time. Bring back Akins, Reynolds, Robbins, Stone... just do something to make us relevant again. The good ole days spoiled me and I want it have that again.

I am glad I didn't waste my time going to this one. What has happened to Greenback? They use to be good but now.. well you can see from looking at that score last week. I am glad we are back with a good staff again. We lost Coach Reynolds and some of his main assistants a few years back and we have been struggling ever since. I am glad we are getting back to our winning ways. It's about time! We should have never let Reynolds leave.
