  1. I agree with you that club teams do produce, but I don't agree that ODP actually produces. Club teams develop players and make them stronger, while ODP takes the best of them and further exposes them to colleges. By experiencing the TN ODP program, I didn't learn anything as I did with club teams. I just got to scrimmage against better teams.
  2. I don't know where you are from, but where I live, the refs would love to see a private school lose. When I played, we never got the benefit of the doubt. It's something we got used to and continued to play just as hard.
  3. They haven't won yet. I have a feeling it's not going to be "Knight Time." I think it will be a Bayor 2:30 "daytime" win.
  4. GPS completely dominated the 1st half, but JPII came out hard the 2nd half for the win. The way GPS was playing, I think they would've won if they would've gotten a goal in the 1st half. The would've been more pumped up. Both played well.
  5. Ooltewah and Grace aren't tough matches.
  6. Who won this game, and what was the score?
  7. Looks like Baylor and JPII are now your front runners. Baylor beat Father Ryan 1-0.
  8. That is correct, Baylor had no seniors in 2001 after losing 6 senior starters. When Baylor won lat year (2004), they lost 5 senior starters and only had one senior that actually started. Jimmy Weekley can do wonders with a team, even if they aren't as experienced as other teams.
  9. Baylor is now on their way after beating Father Ryan in the quarter-finals. I know our girls aren't going to let us down!
  10. Being a former Baylor Varsity player, I can tell you that no one ever thought it was "our year," especially after we won in 2001. Each year people say "Oh, they can't do it again," but we proved people wrong. Baylor is known for doing well in the state tournament, despite what people believe is going to happen. Again, this isn't Baylor's "year," but I think that they will pull it together and carry on the tradition that we left for them.
  11. don't just say that somebody isnt a worth while player, give some names as to who else should be on the list
  12. The only reason I don't put Baylor at tops is because they haven't done anything serious enough yet. They could easily be later in the season. The main reason Notre Dame is #1 is because look at the last tournamet they went to. ALL SHUTOUTS! We'll just have to see as the season progresses who is gonna take number 1.
  13. The only people I hear talk about BGA are the BGA people. Everybody has select players. Or atleast many of the teams that stand a good chance of winning. Another Division 2 team, Baylor, has select players (some of them out of TNFC). My team has played both your team and Baylor and trust me, I don't think your team holds a candle to them. Nobody has mentioned BGA for a reason.
  14. 1 - Notre Dame (Glu-incredible keeper plus the great lower classmen) 2 - McCallie (PJ and Rahbe) 3 - Baylor (Glover, Kedrowski, and Bach-could be higher but haven't done enough to show what they've got) 4 - McMinn Co. (Slack and Price) 5-7 - in any order CSAS, Grace, and Soddy
  15. I talked to a couple of Notre Dame players they said he was ALRIGHT. When I was first trying to talk to them about him they didn't realize who he was. All they knew that was for a while a guy named Donnie was practicing on the team.

    Rivals

I know a big rivalry in Chattanooga is Bayor/McCallie. I'm not sure whn they play each other but I'm pretty sure it is at Baylor.
  17. If I remember correctly, CBHS is the one that got dominated last year and didn't even make it to the state finals. Their reign has ended.
  18. I know a few boys on the team and they say that there keeper is new as of last year but has been at school for 4 years. And for lacking a keeper, if I'm correct, the Chattanoogan.com marked him as having the least goals per game out of any keeper in the city. That includes all the teams A/AA, DII, and AAA.
  19. Lacy Morrison did do an awesome job, but she probably would've been third on my list for Baylor. I only put my top 2 for each team.
  20. Ya'll have some logic. Pick people that you really actually think is going to get All-State. These are my top 2 picks from each team that made it to the finals. FRA- Ashley Price, Marissa Yenni CCS- Brittany Lee, Heather Trimiew Houston- Danielle McMurray, Alali Dagugo-Jack Farragut- Katie Green, Emily Beuerlein Father Ryan- Carrie Smith, Lauren Purcell Baylor- Jennifer Clemmer, Paige Lanter
