He may live in Greenbrier, but he ain't from Greenbrier. I think you'll see most of the GB people that post on here don't act like that.

I don't post on here too much but I come on to read a lot. I for one would like to apologize to the MC fans for the posts of 5 Sport. Greenbrier fans don't posts like this and all it takes is for one jerk to give us a black eye. Like GCat, I don't know who he is but I hear that he's not from GB anyway. You won't hardly ever see posts like his in a Greenbrier thread and I've only ever seen 2 Bobcats threads closed and both times it was his fault. We all have our kooks. Just read past his junk and know that he doesn't represent what GB is like. Good luck to you guys. Last night was a fun game.

sounds like someone got there feelings hert by not being picked captain and you saying your the leader is what your saying, not your team. of course being picked captain means something. it means that these are the guys that are looked to set the examples and lead the team. just cause someone can get others fired up has nothing to do with leading. if captains didn't matter, then every sports team out there wouldn't have them.

That does sound like an exciting night. Was it as exciting as getting to play for that title in Murfreesboro? I bet you and josh really enjoyed all of the excitement that went along with the week of the state championship game. Attending the meetings in Nashville, having all of the news crews doing the stories about the teams playing for the state championship, having your entire town show up in Murfreesboro, all the stuff like that. Even though we didn't get to win the championship game like you and josh, its at least nice for us to be able to have state runner up on our jackets. I guess you do have some special BDP with having state champion on your own jacket. What was your most special memory of playing in the state title game? At least you and me and josh can share the memory of what it's like to actually make it all the way to the big dance. It's incredible isn't it?

You need to go back and look at your school records for the past 20 years. You may have beat GB for those years but you don't have 20 years of tradition. Your good years have been in the last 10 or 12. In many of the other years you had very average teams that finished with records below GBs so you might want to look back before you try to turn legendary. Tradition starts by winning games and winning games wins region titles. How can you have tradition if you DON'T win region titles? The tradition that the Cats have going is just fine. You just don't seem to be able to deal with the fact that yall were picking your team to be in the state finals before the season started and yall were just going to walk right through the region and it didn't happen. You're first year of dropping down a level and you can't beat a no tradition GB for the title? and you finished 2nd... NO WAIT! That was 3rd. We also beat PC and you couldn't. And don't try to play the numbers thing.... if you would have had 3A numbers, you would have been in 3A. You got enough students to build a second school in your town.

Hmm?? Let me weigh this one out...... Do I want to be the team that wins the final, televised, CSS game of the week to stop the streak, win the game that will give us the outright region title, win the game that will allow us to stay undefeated in the region, win the game that will allow us to stay at home for the opening game of the playoffs, win the game that will mean a bunch more $$$$ for our program because we're playing at home for the playoffs, win the game to take our 3rd straight title from two 4A teams that have just dropped a level to join our class and should have won the region easily,.................OR win the game that will allow me to travel across half the state to lose????? Gosh, I'll have to think about this one for a while..... If you would have taken the 2nd win and made something of it, yes, it would have been worth it but you didn't. OK.... you have the one game streak going. You all seem to base everything on this. You can have the one game winning streak and we'll take the region title streak.....

getthatqb.... agree with you on Brad. He should have a huge year. you're obviously a proud mom... you say it in every post you put on here...lol don't get this wrong but he didn't start the year at qb. Didnt start the scrimmages at qb. If it was going to happen, the scrimmages and practice is where it starts. By the first game the shoulder wasn't an issue then. The coaches had Pigg and Herndon where they thought best. Dill the same. Thats why several players take snaps at other postions during practice. There was early talk of Ty being the qb but anybody close to the team knew that unless Kyle got hurt this probably wasn't going to happen and then it was between Justin and Ty. Our coaches will play the ones in the positions where they need to be. We have won a record number of games in the past few years so the coaches know what they're doing. You're always going to have players that coaches are going to look at for other postions but when it comes down to game time, they're going to go with their best shot. Some make better receivers. Some better ends, rbs, fbs.... Coaches talking about possibilities in the paper is just talk. The only one last year that was ever saying who was going to be the qb was you. Unless you yourself are there in the locker room or the coahes office your never going to know.

catsball1... You think you have this one but I can tell you that you're wrong. It's not who you're thinking. And just to keep track on everyones score sheet..... Catsball1 IS Logan. So in all of the posts about "Greer", he's using 3rd person. Must be like the Jimmy guy on Seinfield. Now we're all caught up.....

Keep getting in those shots Dandy. Deny it if you will but it's obvious that remarks like "to those still in the hunt" are your way to keep it going. Why would you even need to say it? I'm sure your reply will be that it wasn't meant that way and that we're all just overreacting but you kow the truth. I will say, of all the posting that I've seen on here through the last few years, you were the last one that I would have expected to take the stance that you have. Grow up already.

You're exactly right Super. He's more there to fair catch balls. He's only returned 2 or 3 all year. He great at fielding the balls but usually just pulls it in when it gets crowded. That particular play he did make a little return but ran straight into the mob and stopped. The whistle started blowing before he even went down. It is a good shot of what gang tackling should be on a punt.

It just seems like the only one any from GB is having a problem with is you dandy. Why would we be sensitive to the streak? We finally won a game. We're sensitive to the arrogance that YOU'VE started showing.
