Yeh, I'm not sure who will coach next year but I'm sure they will have another winning season. Just for the record, there's nine freshmen this year, i think maybe 6 sophmore, 2 juniors and 2 seniors. So they will have plenty of time to build up a real strong team with so many young players. Thanks for all the support!!

Well I play for Hixson and we all thought we did well against a team that was ranked so high above us. Granted we didn't go for the ball and could've won the game, but comparing the team from last year to the team this year we are very proud of ourselves for this season. We also happen to believe that Danielle is not the only good defender and we have more than one fast forward. Our goalie, Blair, did do an excellent job the whole game. Both of Notre Dame's goals were within five minutes of each other, the first of which being a very good shot from Darcy. So can we have just a little bit of credit for our accomplishments this year!?

heck yes hixson's field is a whole lot better than notre dame's! it's not lumpy and has no football lines on it. plus, my parents spend hours there every week mowing it so i know it's better than notre dames

I talked to Paige this morning about it and she said the only reason they put that in is because she was the leading scorer and Paige agrees that the newspaper should not have put it in there also.

They said she couldn't play or sumthin like that I don't remember exactly but why bring it up in the first place?

Yes, sweetwater has a good team as far as soccer goes but I hope the only place I see them is on the field beacause I can not recall when I have ever played any team the had a worse overall attitude than them. On the field and on the sidelines. When my team played them the parents as well as the players were cussing at us and called us b*tches and saying that we had no class. Sure they made us mad and I let a not so fun side of me out when I told a parent to shut up but in my defense it was provoked! Also it was as if they couldn't play the right way. It's one thing to win a game that both teams played fairly but they had some, let's say, girls who had much mass who fouled unnecessarily.

I couldn't believe they put that in the paper about Ashley. She didn't play in the game so just don't say anything, ya know?! I would be mad too if that was put in the paper about me.

All I heard was that Ashley couldn't play because of the party thing so if what I heard was false then I'm sorry I spread it. They are very hard on themselves.

She's a sophmore. Well, I haven't seen Ashley play in a long time but last time I saw her play she could have schooled me without me even knowin it but Ashley has broken some rules of the team, thus the reason she wasn't playing in the Notre Dame game. So where I am coming from is Ashley put her season in jeopardy before a very big game and Paige wouldn't do that. Now, I have no doubt that Ashley as well as the other Baylor players don't give a whole lot of time for the team but as far as the commitment and stuff like that I can look at Paige as a better player. No offense to Ashley, she's very nice and she kicks butt to and her family is very nice.

I think Paige Lanter from Baylor kicks butt. She's fast, has excellent ball control, and is in amazing shape. In the Baylor vs. Notre Dame game Paige scored both goals, winning the game for Baylor 2-0. Check the Chattanooga Times Free Press in the sports section for more details. I've played with her for many years on different teams and I can say from a first hand account that she is determined and very skilled with a soccer ball.

Grace has a very good team. Each time my team has played them they played well and fair. I don't know whether they are young or old. I don't know who Thompson is either but number 9 , their sweeper, plays extremelly well and can throw the ball farther than anyone I've ever seen. I offer them all my support in their game against CCS. Grace obviously has a lot of experience on their team. Even with the lose of 5 players (I'm pretty sure it was 5) they remain a very good team and not having those players doesn't seen to have effected them all that much.

I'm on Hixson's team too and as much as it pains me to say this, I am one of the starters who did not come because I was out of town. Belive me if I could have been there I would have been and would have given it all I had. I would like to apologize to my team, my coaches, and everyone else who is unpleased with the absence of so many players. Tonight when we play Grace whether I am on the side lines or on the field I will be behind my team 100% and if I do play I will do my best so I don't let my team down. Also, someone said earlier that Katherine was our only good player and that the rest of us were no good. I hope you realize that what you said hurt the feelings of many players, myself included. I'm not saying that our whole team is able to do anything with a soccer ball and I'm not saying Katherine is not good, beacuase she's awesome and without a doubt the best on the team. However, we do have many other players who play very well and with all their hearts and do not deserve to be put down. For those of you who offer us support for our game against Grace tonight I thank you. We want to win so much so we can meet up with CCS again and show them what we have and keep the score to numbers that will not embarrass us and our coaches.
