  1. KenHawk, You make some good points. However, when's the last time you've seen any game where both teams played their best game possible on the same night? It just doesn't happen that often. As for mareville's schedule being tougher, it may appear to be so on paper but closer examination reveals that's not the case. On the whole, region 3-4A has had a down year. Central was not as good defensively this year as they have been in years past. Powell, West, Halls, and Carter all were middle of the pack teams and mareville got by without playing it's best ball. That's going to catch up to you sooner rather than later when you get in the playoffs. Finally, mareville didn't need the "junk" plays, as GQ calls them, last year until the finals. This year they needed them to get by Central. Rebelsman, a mareville lady who goes by Mrs. rebelsman taught me how to spell trojans -- interesting.
  2. Does it really matter if they were high fiving? I could care less if they were high fiving, low fiving, or swapping slobber. If I were in their shoes I would have been somewhere close to the mareville coaches and players pointing and taunting them while pointing at the scoreboard and moondogging in the endzone. That always worked well for me when I was coaching.
  3. CoachT or any mods looking at this stuff -- I have one question for you. Does this crappola have absolutely anything to do with high school football? Please set up a board reserved only for these 2 and keep these boards clean of their nonsense. The rest of us want to have meaningful, constructive discussions on upcoming football games. Go Trojans!
  4. peepsqueek, Don't you ever get tired of constantly bashing our program and making silly innuendos? Don't hate our program because you ain't us. Let's keep it to good clean serious gridiron discussion on here, as I have tried, and do away with the childlike remarks. Now get back to that window and start taking orders!
  5. No one in their right mind could believe that Gaylor would leave his job at mareville to return to what's left of a football program at Clinton. The guys making more money now than ever and from what I understand his kids are playing baseball for him. Clinton would have to throw some serious cashola at him for him to even consider it and we all know that' s not going to happen.
  6. I would be embarassed to pull for a team that has to run "junk" plays in order to win games. It kinds of cheapens the win, doesn't it? On a more serious note, what's everyone's opinion on who Mo. West will be facing in Murfreesboro?
  7. Are there not any 12-13 year old games tonight?

    Lordy, Lordy

Rebieron, I'll send you some tickets to see the bobcats win the state championship this year on your birthday. Perfect.
  9. Pep, I couldn't agree more. I just never looked at it that way. Your analogy of Central as a Rottweiler and mareville as a "little chihuahua" is dead on. Great job!
  10. stars, Your fascination with the Halls program and Coach Sheppard amuses me. Evidently you think I am affiliated with it in some way. Continue on with your little mindless essays, but be assured that I have absolutely nothing to do with that program. Now you and your alter ego (suzy) get out of the electronics department and get back up front greeting people.
  11. Does this crappola have anything to do with High School Football? Let's keep it sports in here and continue your code talk elsewhere.
  12. I thought you said you were going to pick an upset? All prognosticators I've spoken with, from Vegas to Tuckeeho, agree that Central should walk the dog all over maryville. Just like I've been saying all week, Central fully expects to win this one while maryville hopes they can compete. I do have a little good news for your maryville fans though.... I just saved 15% on my auto insurance.
