Great game franklin. The rebels came ready to play and the bruins were unable to pull it off. Seeing our senior linebackers crying their eyes out made me realize how much it really meant to both teams. I would have liked to have seen the Bruins win but i guess it just isnt our year. Comcast doesnt carry any playoff games except the BC bowl for all I know. However, as with every Brentwood game, channel 9 is going to film it. Unfortunately we cant broadcast our games live because our cables to the foodball field were destroyed when they made the new soccer field. However, we will put the gametape in at about 10:30 or whenever we get our stuff back to the studio, so if you want to watch it it will be on between 10:00 and 10:30 on friday. The game will be rebroadcasted on Channel 9 on Tuesday at 9:00 am and 7:00 pm with both of those being preceded by our show Crawford's Corner that has interviews with our coach and some players who stood out on Friday night. be sure to catch both broadcasts. definately true. I heard under the old playoff system the two could play each other in the state championship game. Now that would be a good game.

wait would Hendersonville host if Brentwood won? Coach crawford told me we would be at home as long as we kept winning......

wow germantown. pretty cocky. Don't say stuff like that. We dont know if Germantown is any better, or if Dobbyns Bennett is any better than Brentwood or Franklin or Lincoln County- and we won't know untill the West and East come to play the Middle Tennessee teams. Go Brentwood, and if we don't win friday I hope Franklin beats Germantown by 70.

Both of these teams want it just as bad as the other. No one can make a prediction, these teams are just too evenly matched. Like BigDogDaddy said, a crucial turnover will win this game.

I like the way the playoffs are set up, most of the time. It gives teams who may have talent but had some unlucky close games a chance to stay competitive. A 4 stage playoff system gives the unlucky teams a chance and its a test for the big teams to show that they can win with pressure. The only thing i would change would be a comlete public-private split and I would rotate the regions that play each other- let regions 5 and 6 play 1 and 2 and let regions 3 and 4 play 7 and 8...it would mix things up a little more and spread the competition better.

Hate to say it FHSRebel, but it's gonna be close. The game will be won in the 4th. But, i'm gonna have to go for my region 6 brothers- Franklin wins this one by 7. Go Bruins, Rebels, Cougars, and the other Cougars

No one mentioned Bill Whittemore from Brentwood. I'm pretty darn sure he's in the top 5 of NCAA QBs at Kansas. Too bad he got hurt now. Watch for Austen Everson to get big soon, and also Steve Jones.

Well, Brentwood's enrollment is dropping by about 150 each year because of Ravenwood. At one time we were up to almost 1900 kids and i think now we're under 1400. At what point would Brentwood drop to 4A if at all? Or are the classifications made by the zoning area for the school? Just wondering. Oh yeah, and does anyone know if Independence High School will be 3A, 4A or 5A?

DCHS 24 HHS 7 The cougars are too good at pulling of 90+ yard drives...once they get going their momentum is unstoppable. Unfortunately for them they didnt really get going till the 4th against Brentwood but if DC scores first its all over for HHS
