I'm tired of seeing people brag about guys from their own teams. Who have you been most impressed with in games that you have either seen or played against? Personally, Eddie Yah from Science Hill didn't play alot against us, but impressed me with his skill. Catholic's keeper was excellent.

The rule has exemptions for National team players. I don't know if Kyle is on the national team, though. Still wondering why Eddie Yah doesn't play much. Gdevilfan said the same thing.... any info?

Anyone else care to say the same thing in a different way?

I would say that CAK played an awesome first half, and I believe controlled most of the game in that half (not to belittle Science Hill in any means). Science Hill brought it on in the second and had us on the ropes. Hard game. Science Hill had several cards as well as a soft red. They were a good team, the best we have played so far. Eddie Yah (sp?) didn't play much (don't know why). He had a lot of skill. I think they will go far. Good game Toppers, and good luck.

Looking only at the scrimmages and beginning week, it doesn't seem like any team is the dominant force that there has been in the past. Are teams up to full strength yet, or is illness and basketball holding them back? Any thoughts? And please, this is not a thread to brag about your OWN team. We have enough of those.

I would say that Catholic outplayed and outshot us tonight. We got an early goal, and pretty much road that for the rest of the game. Like GKBD15 said, hard fought game.

Even with all of these losses, what team in the A/AA district that LC is in will have the talent that Bearden or Maryville have? This is why they play the big boys to prepare for the season. You wont get any better playing weak teams.

Yeah, but didn't they just tie Morristown West 1-1? That is what a seperate post said.

I agree, Twinkles. We will either learn it the easy way or the hard way. All we have to go on is the past. We still need to prove ourselves for this season.

I agree. The only weakness that I saw, is that their keeper doesn't like to use his hands very much. Drops the ball as well. The rest of their team is very skilled.

Holy crap! This says it all... All of these teams are talking so much smack about a stinking scrimmage! Farragut just doesn't talk, they do. Congrats on the wins to both teams, but they MEAN NOTHING!!!!! Bring it during the season, then get on and post.

For once, I agree with Jorj. CAK and LC CAK and Catholic.... this will be particularly interesting next season when Catholic is in CAK's district! Also, LC will be gone up to AAA next season.
