I stand corrected... I thought Frey was a senior this year and I wasnt aware of 2 transfers.... That will definately make a difference.... It seems people transfer in and out of goodpasture all of the time... INTERESTING!!!

With martin Luther King, David Lipscomb, and Ezell Harding all winning first round games, it seems that it will be one of the toughest districts in Middle Tennessee next year.Pearl Cohn has some good players coming up(Freshman City Champs also-undefeated) and hume Fogg seems to be a program on the rise also as a team. How is 8AA shaping out to be to you all and who are the lookout players for next year. Hate to disappoint you but Lipscomb, MLK Pearl Cohn all are not in District 8 anymore after this year.... District 8 is as follows: Goodpasture will be going through somewhat of a rebuilding process, even though they didnt have the greatest season this year... DCA will be average.... Portland will have a long way to go next year after a miserable season this year.... Station Camp could be better that will all depend on any adjustments to their attitudes over the off season and what their team psychic predicts for them... Greenbrier couold alo be fairly strong if a few people step up and Greer puts some meat on that frail butt.... White House could be the sleeper, they now have a good coach, some strong young players and a great player in the making in Jamison....

I think it is the girls coach at Clarksville Academy...

I have never said Doc isnt a good coach... His record speaks for itself.... However, his coaching etiquette, ethics and morals all have a lot to be desired... Pressing in 4th quarter winning by 40+ and your starters are in the game.... That is all I will say on that matter....

I wouldnt put up with the crap that they have to put up with from narrow minded uninformed individuals for the money that they make.... Yeah he makes alot of money but look at other states and look at what their Executive Directors make... Tennessee is getting a bargain!!! Especially with the wonderful people that they have to put up with, whom have no idea what they are talking about........

Melvin Smith will be introduced as coach within the next 2 weeks... He is double checking on his State of Missouri retirement and once that is taken care of he will accept the job...

I honestly believe if there was free parking and free admission people would still complain. "I'm having to park to far away" "I can't sit next to the court".... People get a life!!! In a lot of states the gym is emptied after each game and if you wanted to see the next game or any other game you would have to pay to get back in... No ill intent meant here guys but you all really need to get in the 21st Century... The problem is people can't necessarily do what they want to when they want to... So therefore whine about it....

Cant remember the name if the High School, I do knowit is in suburban St.Louis, He always has 20 wins seasons and has won two state championships, plus many other trips to teh tournament... He has taught and coached in Missouri long enough to be eligible for full state retirement and is looking for a new opportunity and challenge.... He was an all-conference player for the University of Arkansas back in the early days before they joined the S.E.C.

Coach Melvin Smith talked to School Administration yesterday.... Looks like his hiring is moving forward....

It will be Smith's job to turn down!!! To Good of a coach, Great Individual, Great Personality, A proven WINNER 2 state championships in Missouri...... Close ties to Obion.... He was approached about the job.... Will draw a full State of Missouri Retirement while coaching here in Tennessee.... Gets the most our of his players and has great working relationships with college coach's......

Hold on a minute... I know I have questioned the strength of McEwens schedule in the past but Daniel Puckett is a Great Ball Player and should make a contribution at Tulane immediately.... Who wins the Mr. Basketball has already been decided... Announcement will be made next week... But to clearly point out a single player from the three finalist to get in a little bashing session is NOT a TRUE CLASS ACT... I wish him the best, even if he doesnt win he was one of the Three finalist....

Apparently the on court squable between both Cheatham and Harpeth got settled tonight with both teams LOSING.... No trips to the Boro this year for eaither team..... Time for them both to move on....

MLK wll win this game.... Sad to say.... But I am still laughing about their lost to D.L. frinday night.... Man that had to really effect Doc's average margin of victory stat that he so cherishes.... WHAT A JOKE MLK will win Tuesday but will never take home the "AA" Crown...

Hate to disappoint you but I have no ties to Heritage... I have followed them because they were so young and played so hard... My ties are more with the "old Teams" of 10 "A"..... Like I said enough is enough I put up the white flag...McEwen had a good season... I wish them the bestnext year.... No hard feelings intended by anything that I have said..

I dont doubt Coach Ross is a good coach... I do question his theory in scheduling games especially with the quality of teams that he has had the last couple of years... I am pretty sure that your sources do not have all of their facts about the so called meeting... Got to be a meetiing scheduled before you can meet, dont you think... Yes I am referring to JoByrns, I am not sure why he felt the need to jump into the middle of something that he definately would have nothing to do with besides casting one vote...

No grudges here I loved watching them play some this year... Just wished I could be able to watch them in the BORO.... As far as the Coach of the year thing that has nothing to do with your coach but has to do with another coach pulling the stunt that he did... Congrats on a good year best of luck in the future..
