  1. You missed my cryptic message - The Wooddale thread had the comment about Millington torching the Tiger defense. Just thought I would tie it all together I don't know who claimed they torched their defense or what they meant by it but that was one of the highest rushing totals for the year for Millington between 200-300yds in some nasty conditions. So maybe they did torch the tiger considering the rushing yards but they could not score for various reasons and they still lost. Who cares it is past and we need to be able to score points whne we get in the redzone this week or we will be finished for the year.
  2. Whose the former NFL player on the staff? just curious
  3. Nice shot, didn't see it coming, but should have expected it from you, you remind me of the RB from Oregon.
  4. I don't think Webber will be dressing or playing this week.
  5. My thoughts about the game for Millington: 1. control the ball- 4yds and cloud of dust (patience) 2. Tackle well (wrap-up) 3. field position, kicking game 4. make Woodale drive the ball, no big/easy plays 5. test Woodales kicking game 6. No turnover, and costly penalties, probably should be listed first If Millington can do these things they will have a chance to advance and avoid as mo2vate stated the "walmart Whoppin"
  6. Not knowing anything about Indy, I do also think dry conditions will help Arlington. They need to be able to pass to set up their run. They have enough running game to keep most defenses honest and unless Indy can stop the run with 6 in the box there should be some throwing lanes open for Arlingtons QB to make some throws. Arlington needs some easy scores to get rolling and open up their offense but will grind it and play field position if needed. It should be a tight game (minus turnovers). I hope Arlington can get this one for West TN but i am a little nervous about the outcome.
  7. Are you saying that because no one is picking county schools? Arlington, millington, GTown, Cordova and most fans think none will win. That is pretty standard come playoff time.

  9. If Walmart didn't already dominate the retail market they would completely eliminate all retail competition if they would start taking everyone who stole from them out in front of the store and "Beat" them. I guess for all of us who would like to see something like that needs to come to the Woodale Millington game for a preview. lol
  10. I'm going to make the trek to Middle Tennessee to watch Mt. Juliet and Oakland. That should be the best game this week other than Farragut and Ooltewah. I hear Juliet fans are not happy with the draw against Oakland. Don't know the breakout in the pod but seems like a very good first round matchup.
  11. Breaking the huddle with 12 men is also inexcusable. How about breaking the huddle with 11 and then once lined up a sub runs out and replaces a player already lined up. What is that?????
  12. About time for you to focus you Independence and Millington to focus on Woodale, Both teams can win and have a chance to play each other again, otherwise no need to keep this thread alive. I've told you guys before that I'm not an Arlington fan. It's just too easy to pick on Millington fans. Perfect example...can't read, can't write, don't remember... Who are you a fan of this week?? Anybody you want to see win this week in the playoffs?????

  14. I don't know much about Woodale other than they are worthy of being a host in the first round. Millington has faced most everything this year and will not see anything new so preparation should not be a challenge. Millington needs to take care of themselves this week and allow the defense do what they have done all year and the offense to show consistency and patience. Woodale will formidable against the run but we cannot abandon what works for us and trust we can be successful. Our best players must get their touches and turnovers must be eliminated. We can advance if we don't beat ourselves.
  15. I hope you don't take my note as this being a potential upset game the wrong way because i hope you represent the West and advance. I don't know what Indy has but i do think they have the QB still playing that beat us in the Semi finals 2yrs ago so they have quality players on that team and they have also played what appears to be a tough schedule. Indy did run a similar offense to your team in the past but not sure what they bring to the table this year. Considering you practice daily against the spread it will not be something new to the players and coaches in this first round match-up. You guys being 10-0 need to get this one or we will never hear the end of it from our Middle TN fans, I hate to put extra pressure on you but that typically comes when you have a season like this even if it is your first real rodeo. Good luck
