No sorry i dont see that happening....alcoa returns there whole front 7 (except Bart) with an addition of Martin White and 2a couldnt handle the D last year...alcoa's d will be 10 times better this year and thats scary

Yeah the reigion teams might want to do anything they can to slow down Alcoa they are going to dominate the reigion fearlessly.

ohhhh does alcoa players love to hear what some of you guys are saying...keep it coming alcoa has always played better being the underdog and by the way Chatt central only scored ONCE on alcoa while alcoa scored 3 or 4 times.

For one the camp was in state vs. only one other team, Woodward Acadamy from GA and they raised the money through a Liftathon not car washes. Coach Reid took William Blount to the same camp before and no violation was put to William Blount so I expect none to be put to Alcoa

About there line. Alcoa's line imporved greatly as the season progressed last year even after the loss of Martin White. Some may say its because look at them opponents but the line worked hard during practice and got there assignments down and techniques and dustin started running the ball even harder. Alcoa is only really filling one spot on the line this year with the return of Martin White. Alcoa's line also didnt give up a sack in 8 straight games so be prepared for a more physical and stronger offensive line from Alcoa.

You've only seen us one year behinde coach reid and your already calling us late starters?? come on man if we would have played early in the year like we played late in the year last year we would definetly have the reigion champs plaque at alcoa....this year is totaly different alcoa is gonna come out mad and furious...hate to see some of these teams try to slow them down

well i mean you couldnt throw the ball so only option they had was to give it to you or bloomstrom the whole game...ferguson was just down right horrible way too small to run but i would hope you'd score atleast 2 tds with all those carries

Alcoa has only won 7 games in that period. 1985,1988,89,90,91,93 and 2000. Most of those wins were in Maryville's down cycle. How where a couple of those in there down year when they won state that year??

yes i know he's a hard worker...he's a very hard worker but he's not the brightest kid in the world and you cant be dumb as bricks and strong as an ox and be a great football player..but he will fair well

indeed he was but bart will be lucky to start the whole year at WB muchless be able to keep up with the higher level of play....we will miss him though but we'll be filling that spot nicely

football you really dont know what your talking about. wiped out our sophomore class? yeah right they only got one sophomore that was at alcoa that was worth anything and that was ronald so be sure you know what your talking about before you start making accusitions like that

Yeah I think Alcoa comes out this year in the reigion and plays like the were playing late in the season last year. Sweetwater will give them a good fight like they always do but this is Alcoa's year in the reigion and possibley state. Good luck

I will be waiting to see some of the excuses you have rebelraider...after seeing all the ones from the mo'west game those were pretty pitiful i almost felt bad for yall. But I guess you cant expect much from someone who sits on here talking about how good there gonna be or how bad there gonna beat someone while the other team is out WORKING at it. Good Luck

what about coack Reid from Alcoa? he did a very young team and tkw them to the Semi's.

when James Rainer was at Alcoa a coulpe of years ago he ran something close to a 4.3

anybody with football sense would know that out of all the schools Alcoa will give Maryville all they want and more. thier not young anymore, another year of coach Reids scheme/weight room. this will be a great game.

LISTEN VERY CLOSELY.......alcoa is no longer young im telling you...all these teams that are going to approach them next year thinking there young are going to walk a way with a L. this team returns their whole front 7 on D and entire back field on O. Yes we did loose a valuble player to WB but it will get filled up very quickly. The offense should be as strong as it was at the end of the year last year at the start of the year this year. Now that there a year behind reid they have more trust in him and the staff and the plays he calls. and the D should be among the best in the state. With Martin White back at DT (6-2 315) and Dustin Lindsey (6-2 220) at OLB Brandon Warren (6'3 2150 and Ray Sykes (6'4 210) at ends this D has A LOT of speed and size. Just be ready to see a more developed and matured football team out of Alcoa. Good luck

thats probley the smallest front 7 maryville has had but still very atheltic but i dont think athletic enough to handle some of the local teams

that toilet paper was awsome and i dont think the team should have been T'd for that but whatever we won anyways my boy warren set the game off for the tornados and the student section was crazy all night...plan on Alcoa to be in buro
