Go Mcminn just wanted to wish you good luck, I think if you guys can run the ball and control the clock the tribe will get very impatient and make some critical errors thet will put you guys in charge,just don't make the critical mistakes first. GO MCMINN !

I think you have to mention the 1990 knox Central team that went to Oak Ridge and beat them 49-14 and that Oak Ridge team in most experts opinions had undoubtedly the most talented group of athletes in the history of Oak Ridge football. Also to be fair you would have to include the Oak Ridge Emory Hale teams of the mid to late 1970's, from what I have heard and seen on tape they were absolutely a state championship winning machine.

DCCATVOICE, I am certainly not an expert on Oak Ridge Football,but any fan of high school football in this state has to be aware of Oak Ridge,especially when you have had the good fortune to have been an arch rival of a team like Oak Ridge with such a rich tradtion. Just wanted to let you know that none of my remarks were aimed at you or the Oak Ridge program, just at your pal 91statechamp which I am sure is just a name made up by him,because I doubt very seriously if any one that shows the lack of class or respect that he does for other programs or cities could have made it through a program like you all have at Oak Ridge,much less been on a state championship team. I have all the respect in the world for the Oak Ridge program and what it stands for,and I could tell from some of your previous posts that 91statechamp may be an embarassment to you with some of his remarks about other football programs in the area. I too hope we can play you guys in the future,I think it is a shame when we let a game as rich in tradition like Central and Oak Ridge go by the wayside. Good luck to you all in the play-offs,I don't think you all need the swagger that 91 mentioned,your tradition speaks for itself. BOBCAT

DCCATVOICE Lets talk about Jeff Co. As I remember they owned you guys for quite a while until the early 90's say about 1993 then you guys finally got a win against the mighty Patriots.I do agree with you that Todd Helton was a great football player as well as a baseball player, where are your greats from your 1991 team? Thanks for the well wishes against Maryville ,I also hope we can get by Maryville this week much as I guess you hope the cats can beat Riverdale for once or Lincoln County.

Bobericks, I saw up the board where someone said 91statechamp did not live in O.R. any longer I guess he was embarrassed to be seen after the 1990 whipping that he received at the hands of the BOBCATS at the "ship" he probably just dreams of being a 91statechamp,heavens know if anyone could play the game as well as he talks it they would never lose.

Boberick,Just please don't forget the 49-14 whipping we admininstered to the cats that were suppost to be so wild in 1990.

91StateChamp and all the rest of the Cats must be at the bowling alley,one I thing I know for sure is that they shake in their boots at the thought of Central getting moved into their classification again,they just can't forget 49-14 at the famous "ship"
