i cant remember the guys name but what about the little white guy that plays for unc-charlotte. im thinking he's from the cleveland,tn area. he's at least on the 2nd team. also, there was an article about the sparks kid in the chatt paper a couple of weeks ago. he went to school here until 7th or 8th grade so i think that constitutes him as being from tn.

football 17- your times are way off. Anybody can run a 4.4 if their dad is running the clock. 4.4 speed is so rare i'd say as few as 15-20 college players ran it at the Indianapolis combine before the draft. If any 285 and up lineman are running a legit 4.8 then they are D-1 prospects even if they cant play a lick.

Topraymore, Anyway, I dont think you understand who you're comparing Cloudland to. Cloudland wouldnt be able to stay on the field with BBS. I think you need to add a couple of more people to their team, maybe 13 or 14, if you want to have a realistic shot. Its not overconfidence, just the truth. Boyd 48 CAK 12

Tonight the Bucs played a near flawless game against a FC team that isnt very good. The final score isnt reflective of this game. Boyd was up 35-0 at the half and coasted from there. Obviously Gordonsville isnt very good either. The home field advantage will help the Bucs again. If SP doesnt turn the ball over and give Boyd easy scores it should be close but the prediction is: Boyd-24 SP 15

FootballGuy I'll give you the 98 team but the only reason you guys won in 99 was because Boyd decided to put a freshman QB in instead of staying with the Senior who had been running all over you guys. And it wasnt like you stopped them and drove the ball 90 yards either. If that playoff game would have been at Boyd it might've been different. Well anyway it's 2003 now and I guess the past 4 years should show you there's a new power in town. Maybe next week the S.P. mystique will finally be put to rest.

I agree with all your teams except the 99 S. Pitt team. They were much better the year before when they had Eddie Moore and Dan Merriman. The 98 team lost to Trousdale, which should be mentioned as some of the great teams from their days in 1A.

AA is right. A housewife could coach Tyner and be successful. Give someone like Coach Akins the talent he has and there would be a monopoly as far as championships. As far as Jones goes, I think he got lucky with this group of kids. If you watch Central play you can call the plays before they do. Also, Central could be one of the most undisciplined teams. They would have beaten Cleveland if it werent for blocks in the back and holds. Give Central another year and they'll be back in the cellar. Plus, Maryville is going to bring them crashing back to earth.

I dont know why everyone keeps talking about Cloudland. It's obvious they dont play anyone. They've played Boyd twice since 98 and neither time has it been close. They would be a 3 seed at best in the Boyd/S.Pitt region.
