What part of blind draw do you not understand? TSSAA is not going to "put" them anywhere.

The home team gets an advantage because they are Region Champs. That makes sense. You are crying about the Region Runner-up having to travel but in reality the Region Runner-up should be happy they are given another shot to redeem themsevles when they could just take the Region Champions straight to the State Tourney.

That would add 24 games to the State Tournament. 8 extra games multiplied by 3 classifications. I'm not sure they can play 24 games in "one more night" added to the State Tourney. There is no reason not to play Sectional home games. It makes complete sense to do it the way they do it now.

Siegel fans need to make sure and not put any stock in the record of Cleveland. If not for the forfeited games they would have a better record than Siegel. Cleveland is probably a better team, but they have some youth and they are playing on the road. Should be a good game.

Those brackets are just set up to show which 8 teams make it to state. I believe they are going to draw for bracket placement at the State Tournament this season. Therefore his bracket cant show the State Tournament match-ups yet.

First round of the region is satellite at higher seeds gym. Then the tournament moves to a neutral site.

The people who listened to you guys say the same thing last year don't have anything left to place a bet with. They lost it all betting on UC last year when you all said they were a lock to win state. Long season.

Apparently I said that was the team his last year somewhere, my fault, I did not mean his last year. I meant the year he had great success. It was with lots of talent. You said it was "with the same players" and I was pointing out that you were incorrect. His great success at Rhea Co. was due in large part to adding an influx of new talent with Cooper and Floyd. That was the only point I made. And, his teams at Antioch this past season has great talent. That was the only point I made.

I know more about the talent at Rhea Co. his last year than you think. To say that team did not have talent is ridiculous. The same talent as the year before, huh? Tim Cooper played at Cleveland the year before and he was a HUGE reason they won as much as they did. He beat Oakland on the road in the Substate game all by himself. He was incredible. What about Floyd, was he on the team the year before? Nope. Zach played college basketball and holds the school record for career points. Yeah, you are right...that team had very little talent. Ridiculous....

Are you serious? Crowder has not won without talent at Rhea Co. or Antioch. He had a ton of talent at both. As soon as his talent dried up at Rhea Co. he left. He does win, but its with a lot of talent.

East Lit is very good. They are playing very well right now too. Moore Co. coming to East Lit should be a good game. I cant imagine that Whites Creek/Mt. Juliet will be much of a game.

I assume you were not at the Region Tournament meeting. At that meeting, they said that teams could not be on the court with basketballs until 15:00 minutes prior to game time.

Region 7 is the best region in the state. Hands down. Region 5 or Region 4 would come in as the 2nd and 3rd best regions in the state. Region 4 has 4 very strong teams. Region 5 has 7 strong teams. You cant argue with 7 out of the top 30. I dont know about three years ago, but this year, the only one that matters now, Region 5 is the 2nd or 3rd best region in the state.

East Lit did not go to state last year. East Robertson did. Different schools. Region 5 is a strong balanced region.

To think that a 6'10 high school kid with his skill set is not SEC/ACC level is laughable. He is skinny. You can fix that. He can, and will, put on weight. What you cant "get" from a kid that doesnt have it is a 6'10 height, good athlete that moves well, has a great shot, and can handle the ball.

Are you joking? Wow, your basketball analysis needs some serious work. How many 6'10 juniors in high school do you think can dribble, shoot, and pass like he does? Not to mention, he moves as well as just about any 6'10 junior in the country as well. He needs to work a lot on his strength and aggresiveness, but remember he is ONLY A JUNIOR. He has the tools and potential that not too many players in his class have. He has a long way to go, but the potential is obvious.

Dang, what happened to VB in 2nd Quarter? Pickett Co. wins by about 11 I think.
