OC girls had a good season. One can always find reasons to criticize. No doubt the record would have been different if injuries had not occured but part of the game. The players re-grouped and adjusted. The Seniors contributed greatly as did the Juniors and Sophomores. Basketball is tough, and the tough stick it out. Great lesson for life. and after basketball season is over, Life does go on!! OC Lady Rebels, always proud of you!!!!

The team has good skills, but doesn't play real physical at all. Get some tough rebounders in there...some great guards on the ball handlers. They're not bad shooters, but def. not physical. They have a girl bout 5'6'', kinda taller then the rest and she handles the ball alot to drive. But as I said, the only real thing I can say is, get some players in there that can play ball and get tough...that oughta be enough.

The district championship games are being held tonight at OC.

I really don't think Hoffman will be moving to Lake Co. anytime soon. I recently talked to him about upcoming AAU and he seemed to be planning for it. That's in the spring, and usually ever since he's been in OC, he's taken OC girls...so naturally would stay around OC.

Yes, OC's has to adjust tremendously with the 3 players out to injuries. They have improved and adapted well to the changes and will continue. Might watch out for these Lady Rebs!

So to my understanding, 8th graders can only play with the highschool teams, if the schools are located on the same campus and if so, the 8th grade isn't able to go back and play with the middle school teams?? About the coach's getting thrown out. Well, a Westveiw player was goin in, lane open, jumped stopped, waited for the 2 OC players to pass, and they jumped over him and on him, then he shot. I thought the foul was on the floor, and I think Ch. Greer thought that too, along with the OC crowd. So he was arguing with the foul on the shot, when it should've been on the floor. They got to shoot 4 tech. shots, plus the 2 foul shots. Still was a great game.

Yes, I agree. It was a great game. With senior Damon Shore's 48 points, agianst a good team like Westview...it was a sight to see. He was on fire. Number 22 for Westview, was he the UC freshman transfer?? Was there one??

Well, I know one of their main scorers and starters is out with a knee injury.(Obion) but I think they still will come out strong. They were still top 5 last year. I have no idea about Livingston Academy. I would be going this weekend, but other plans have come up. I still think Obion will come out strong.

Is this RBS school AA or A or what? What town are they in??

Hoffman--Last years state A champs..Trenton's old coach..left the year right before state. In fact, when the Trenton girls won last year, the coach said "this was spencer's team.." and thanked him for everything. I'm honestly expecting a lot out of Obion Co in the next couple of years.

Spencer Hoffman at Obion Co--hardworking..# 5 in state AA last yr Kevin Mcmillan @ Westview--knows the game...top 3 in AA rite?? cant remember..but good!
