Rade butcher you must not have been in touch with clarksville basketball in 5 or 6 years! thats how long its been since jackson has departed and as for the competition... tnbball makes the best point that most of the talent is spread through out the schools because there are so many in such a small area.

I wasnt at the game but just from reading stuff and seeing that the game winning shot was a 3 hit with 2 seconds left, it would not appear as though cheatham was out coached. Especially if harpeth is supposed to run away with the district this season and theyre supposed to have so much to work with! Cheatham has struggled the last couple seasons when traveling to harpeth but hopefully theyll turn it around and play like theyre capable.

1 on 1, 2 on 1, it wouldnt have made a difference. Abby is a far superior athlete to anyone of sycamores players. However, sycamore hasnt been GOOD in recent years and this was supposed to be a breakout season for them. Just because they havent had their breakout yet doesnt mean somethings wrong! Sure, theyve lost some games early but what did you expect from a team that isnt used to winning on a consistent basis?

where is this game being played?? If its at stewart county then i think the rebs win because its tough to play there. With that being said they are a much better team this yr than last and they nearly pulled off a couple of big upsets at home. This would not be an upset if they do win but later on down the road they will have a some great chances when sycamore and harpeth come to town if they come ready to play because they already know they can keep it close. If the game is at waverly i think its a toss up because both teams have exceptional coaching. However if the rebs can pull an upset or 2 and finish 3rd in the district, coach bramlett may be looking at coach of the year!

I saw what you posted catfish. that post wasnt directed at you or any one person, sorry for the confusion. But i know in a few posts people have cheatham finishing lower the 3rd or 4th and that will never happen as long as carr stays no matter who their players are or how young!

hahahaha....shutting down abby. She proved why she is the best player in the district and on a different level. By best player i mean ball handler, defense, rebounder, scorer and potential! abby is the only player who would start at sycamore? Then how on earth does sycamore lose this game and who expected cheatham to have a down year?? If anything else theyll play alot harder than last year if people have them as underdogs.

Good point statebound but exactly who on sycamores roster can physically keep up with abby? Just because cheatham is young doesnt mean theyll be beaten easily. theyll always bring the pressue and sycamore doesnt handle that very well!

This sounds like the same exact stuff that was said last year only cheatham put an end to that real quick and the same thing will happen this friday night. How on earth is sycamore so much better this season than last. And how on earth will they beat cheatham by 15 @ cheatham. The lady cubs return their most athletic player and she will obviously be the best player on the floor friday night! SHould be interesting, at least thats what the sycamore fans are hoping for.

If everyone would like to talk about how good sycamore is going to be please keep it within their district because there will be nothing to say when the region rolls around. Bolivar and libery are on another level. Both teams return JUST ABOUT EVERYONE! and bolivar are the defending state champs. And if you think sycamore is going to compete with liberty...which is a team that had bolivar down 20-2 in the first quarter of the region game last year then your crazy because like i said they have just about everoyne back. Sorry, just too far fetched.

You should change your name from catfish hunter to district 11-aa guru. You should publish an updated program of all the teams to go with it. Catfish, you are so full of it. BY saying lohin played more as a freshamn than a sophomore, how is that dogging his game? Now then, yes the cubs will not be as successful next season as they have been the past 3 but they will still contend for a region spot and make a run for the top spot in the district as they have the past 2. Cheatham doesnt have that much experience coming back but i think next season with 7 players graduating you will see alot of hard nosed bball with the young guys taking over leadership roles. I think next season coach j. may have the hardest working group hes had yet. Why do you continue bringing me into arguments when you know nothing about me. Lloooddy freakin daaa lohin plays 2 sports and starts at both of them. Since you know nothing about me heres some info, ive played 3 sports my entire life and have started in every single one until my sr yr on cheathams football team and even then i contributed when needed. BTW, the middle school football players were the waterboys. So just because i said something about sycamore you didnt agree with, dont let your thong get wedged in that tight crack of yours. Who cares if sycamore has a couple of players that have played in the postseason before, the district post season is nothing to brag about about. Bullard is the only one coming back whos played in a tourney game outside of district and one game in the region isnt that valuable. If you wouldnt notice, im not hypin up cheatham because it may be a tough season and you shouldnt be hypin up sycamore either.

Harpeth should finish first next season. Sycamore will not be as great as catfish says. They were supposed to be great again this year but that didnt happen. They return several players with experience but few players that contributed. Kinman will get his FIRST cinsistent action next season and will prolly be inconsistent. Bullard and moulton are the only ones who could be depended on coming back. Lohin played more as a freshman than he did this yr. Forbes and crawford were supposed ot contribute alot this season but they didnt. Sycamore doesnt have the deep shooting threat as theyve had in the past and that will hurt yet be good at times. The biggest thing of all is they dont have a coach right now. I hope everyone starts talking about a district 'ship only because no one from this district will beat a top 4 team from the other sidE of the region. BANK ON IT!

IMO, knight will not consdier coming to ut that much. There is no discipline on that team and they are in the cellar. However at TTU, knight is just settling in. Hes getting the majority of the recruits he wants and his team is playing great. They just barely lost in the big 12 championship to an excellent OK state team. ONce TTU makes that big run in the tourney he wont be thinking about leaving at all. Its taken 3 or 4 years for knight to finally have consistent success in the big 12 and as much as he hates losing, i dont think hes willing to spend another 3-5 yrs rebuilding a program.

Im glad louisville still has dean because if they didnt then missing out on telfair and rondo in the same recruiting class couldve been disastrous.

As long as bolivar plays a better 3-2 zone than what they did the first quarter against liberty they should do fine. That was the worst quarter of bball ive see all year out of any team! BOlivar is too tough when they lock down man to man.

What night is the championship game and what night is the sub state game?

We all know the only team from 9aa that is better than the top four in 10aa is giles. As proven last season and again this season. Last season there was no comparison and it seems a little tighter this season. I think if waverly plays solid theyll give giles all they want.

Well, its been a fun season watching cheatham play. I wished they wouldve kept in close in the 3rd, anyhting couldve happened after that. If giles plays tommorow against harpeth like they did in the first half against the cubs then there will be a rude awakening.

lewis county will not beat waverly if they play them. And if i remeber correctly dansby played very well against giles in the region game.

Liberty was winning 18-2 at the end of the 1st quarter!!!!!!! Just like the bolivar got out of that horrible zone and absolutely picked liberty apart in the man to man. kemp and the rest were HORRIBLE in the 1st but kemp prolly had close to 10 steals the rest of the way. It looked bad for a bit but bolivar turned it around. Bolivar was about by 15 or so when i left with about 4 min. left in the game.
