I think Lawrence Co. has a good ball team but I don't think they are good enough to beat Giles County . Giles County has too much talent for Lawrence Co. It wiil be a great game .

They did'nt beat Bradley but Tyler was had the most points in the game both times they played. One man can't do it all.

They were taking charges the refs just was't giving it to them,and last year none of the seniors on the bench were better than the starting five.

The coach had no choice if he wanted to win . To me a coach always wants to start his BEST players . If Coffey is in the game at the end when it counted the most then he is obviously one of the best five on the team.Every player wants to start and I think if you go out there and prove yourself game after game after game then you should get your shot.

I tired of people saying that Tyler Smith doesn't play hard evry game if they are winning by 30, 40 ,or 50 points why should he have to . Remember this Tyler Smith plays as good as he wants to while others play as good as they can. In big time games count on big time players.

I stand by my post . I take nothing away from Kash and Shay they have both been big time contributors to the team but I noticed when Channing is in the game the whole team seems to get energized ,he brings so much quickness a court awareness to the floor . Kash and Shay should be the leaders of this team they are the two STARTING seniors.

yes he is a junior but I don't know about AAU . By the way he is the second best player on Giles County's team behind Tyler Smith.

I just think that Channing deserves a thread of his own . He is a great player who would truly be a star on any other team . He gets no appreciation from the coach he proves himself game after game but still does not earn a spot in the starting line-up . Everyone can see that the team WILL NOT win big games without him . He moves great with or without the ball . He will most definately be akey to them winning ANY game next year . I hope that he gets the recognition that he deserves. If you read this Channing just keep your head up and don't worry about the coach yelling at you we all love your game .

I just can't picture a sophmore being better than Brandon Wright.

Channing Coffey was the key to this game and every game when it comes down to tournament time.

DID ANYONE NOTICE THE BAD OFFICIATING AT THIS GAME . WHAT ABOUT WHEN THEY CALLED A FOUL ON WRIGHT AND HE WAS UPSET ABOUT THE CALL AND THEN THE REF CAME TO HIM AND COMFORTED HIM LIKE HE WAS A BABY, COME ON GET REAL . THIS WAS A BAD NIGHT FOR THE OFFICALS.

This was a great game . Channing Coffey would be a star on any other team . The question would not be whether or not he would start the game but more of whether or not he would ever come out . He is a young player and he never seems to get tired , he brings so much enthusiasm to the game . Wright is a great great player . He has a big future ahead of him . Tyler Smith showed his heart and determination last night . In the beginning of the game Wright blocked a couple of Smith's shots but that never stopped Smith from bringing it . He just kept bringing it all game . Smith and Wright are great players . Great game.

What about Giles County , you didn't even give them an honerable mention . What about Bolivar or are you just wanting to talk about AAA.

How were they iffy on Tyler when it came down to the end most of the time he at least touched the ball Wright never took a shot in the last 2minutes of the game now come on Gomab , if the game was on the line wouldn't you tell your Midstate Ballers to get it to the one who was impressing you and the one you could count on.Tyler just played great defense on Brandon by denying him the ball ,they could't get the ball to him down low. Like tcross says DEFENSE WINS BALL GAMES OFFENSE PUT FANS IN THE STANDS. By the way Tyler was the leading scorer as well . I'm sure when you were talking to the other coaches Gomab you were very non-biased ,after all everyone on here knows how you feel about Tyler Smith.

Man are you guys kidding me , didn't Fairview just beat Page by 19 ,the same Fairview that giles County beat 70 something to 20 something . I say Giles County by at least 40.

And still I am not downing Zach but Channing needs to get more plying time and he needs to start . everyone can see the difference when Coffey is in the game .

Giles Conty was the better team but Brentwood Academy was better coached .
