As of right now, the AD (Clayborne) is taking the team to camp. The search is on. I think they are going to make sure they get the right hire!!!???

Columbia, Lincoln County, Clarksville NE, Tupelo MS, Brentwood, Spring Hill Brentwood Academy, Antioch, Obion County, Lexington AL, Loretto, Siegel, Columbia High AL, Hickman County, Red Bank, Forrest, Walker HS Jasper AL, Wayne County, DCA, White House, Giles County, Lawrence Co., Lausanne Some good teams from all classifications. Forrest is defending State Champs in 1A. Columbia is still looking for one more team. It will be a 24 team classic. Each team will play one game each Friday and Saturday. I would say it will be the best Thanksgiving Tournament for High School Girls Basketball in the state( just my opinion).

Coach Graves has resigned in Columbia to take a job in Alabama. This would be a great situation for somebody. Athletes, talent and community support. Great place for Boys basketball. Lots of talent returning to the program. Any ideas/opinions of who the next coach will be?

I believe there are 23 teams in the tourney. South Gwinnett GA backed out(they are going to Orlando) this week. They are looking for one more team.

I think it will be a great tourney. The out of state teams will bring some great competition. Schedule will probably be out around August. I think they are still looking for 1-3 more teams.

That's what I have heard also. He was asked to resign and he did. Last year they 32-2 and they ask him to resign??? That's the story I am hearing???

Then why is Riverdale looking to hire someone in Wendi Scott's place??

I saw where Riverdale is looking for two assistant coaches. Could be a pretty good indication Wendi Scott is the next coach at Lawrenceburg!!

The search is over. Darian Brown will be named the new coach today. He was the boys assistant. Good or bad hire?

Congrats to Shelbyville on the win! The final was 69-60. They will play Raleigh Egypt on Friday.
