  1. wchs guy, i guess i should pay you some money. seriously-congrats to the wildcats, heck of a job today, and nathan thomas is the real deal man. kid plays with lots of heart and desire. Good luck against Wilson Central and im not betting any money against them this time!!
  2. Well, all i have to say is, Lebanon IS GOING TO BE WATCHING FROM THE STANDS!!!!!!!!. who cares who they beat during the year, guess how much it matters now? ummmm none!!!!!!! as for wc, and rhea, im with bscon, ill back his hundred and drop another 100 on rhea---i do think it will be a good game but the kids from rhea play very very very hard
  3. WCHS Guy, you might wanna re-think that $100 dollar bet--Rhea county is a very tough and grity squad and I'm curious to see who's gonna step up and be the leader of that team. Biddle and Thomas seem to be the leaders but we'll see how they re-act under the lights!!!!
  4. o i agree--huge win for central and couldnt be prouder of them--just think they should save it for win they win the state--i agree its a huge huge huge win for the program but ther girls didnt do it so i dont think they should've. I hope they take it home personally but i think it was kinda weak-----congrats to coach bond, coach dykus and crew and i firmly believe that nathan thomas is going to be one of the state's premier players in the future--best of luck to the wildcats
  5. Now i'm very happy for the wc wildcats for their win and representing district 9aaa but did anyone else at the game think the celebration was a little much. I understand that it is a HUGE step for the program and all, but cutting down the nets? i just thought that was a little much--i can almost guarantee that none of the other teams going to state went to that extent. Kind of got the idea that they didnt think they should be there and so they took advantage of the opporutnity. Again, congrats to the wildcats but tone it down just a notch, focus on rhea county
  6. ok well due to my lack of knowledge on Glencliff, i have a few questions-- number one is has Glencliff played anybody that will get in the half court and lock down on defense and play solid man to man or zone defense? Hendersonville can lock down in the half court and play very very tough defense. Has jamont and Glencliff faced that this year? just a couple of questions but i have a feeling coach west will have a very good gameplan for the game and im expecting h'ville to pull it off. Best of luck to both teams
  7. couldnt agree more theone0---mooney is a very very bad coach---i think 3 years ago he had swader, brett warner, and the other guys that slip my mind but were absolulty incredible athletes--michael hicks was one of the guys and i think another was ben sage is those names are correct--one of the best teams talent wise ive seen in 9aaa in a while and he did really nothing with it----Smyrna will not be back next year--they only have 1 legit scorer in the younger warner and thats it
  8. sorry guys---dont get me wrong--mario is an incredible athlete-in the 9aaa finals he caught a crazy oop from darden i think and it was incredible--but overall skill i think bradnon runs with it--if mario can develop a 12-15 foot jumper he might get brandon but for now its brandon
  9. Wushy---Mario is a good player, but best sophmore in the state....there's a fella at Brentwood Academy by the name of Brandon Wright who would make Mario look like a little school girl. Obvioulsy a LaVergne fan.
  10. fanatic--big players step up at big times--can darden do it? i guess we will find out tonight--best of luck to both teams
  11. well good comment suhiy since last year in tourney time helton held darden to a whopping 6 points---yes 6---think before you speak brother--good players step up when its needed
  12. the mj bears looked strong tonight---played hard and played together......two pretty impressive wins the last 2 games so keep your eye out
  13. LaVergne is definalty the front runner but they have to keep their heads--last year they had the 2 seed and lost first round to mj so if they keep their heads than no doubt the obvious front-runner
  14. A lot of it has to do with who wins it really--i can say that for the reg. season mvp, if there was one, i think it would be darden. LaVergne was supposed to be down this year but he took it over and got em to where they are so congrats chris. I still say h'ville has to be the favorite in the tourney- they are the most mentally tough team ive seen and theres no telling how coach west can get them to play. I also think you need to keep an eye on Wilson Central, Mt. Juliet, and Gallatin. i say Gallatin because its at Gallatin and luna is heck of a coach. Best of luck to all
  15. being neither for nor against mj---what was the purpose of this post? you are obviously just trying to get something started--thats cool if you feel that way but im sure not many people care
