Alcoa (6-1) should be on the list or at least an honorable mention. Considering they are ranked #1 in 2A and their only loss is coming Maryville.

WHTF2007, yeah Mo-West beat Maryville last year. No matter what anyone says about the game. It went down as a loss for Maryville and a State bid for Mo-West. But that was last season and this is this season and this season is what matters now. Your boasting and gloating of the Mo-West's 2nd win over Maryville in 6 games is just lowering how people view Mo-West fans. You dont see Maryville fans getting on here and boasting and gloating about all their big wins over Mo-West or Central.

Maryville could very well find it self at 5 on this list at least by the beginning of the year. In the next three weeks, Maryville will play both Oak Ridge and DB, as well as a very formidable opponent in AE. Even though, these are just scrimmages they can tell alot about a team.

The road to M-boro will be much easier for Maryville in 5A than it has been in the last few years while playing in 4A. With Maryville playing good teams such as Mo-West and Central every year, this road has been very hard. Not to mention the fact that every team that they ever play is gunning to "take down the giant". As FBEmeritus stated earlier, Maryville plays OR and DB every year in a scrimmage and usually beats them fairly easily. Just my thoughts.

Out of this group, Maryville will have to be the team to beat.

Yeah, i believe that that if you are trying to find out how led the state in any stat, it should only be in the regular season. The playoffs are just based on how good a team is.
