I was wondering if any one could give me the game times for the Sequoyah Chistmas tounament for Wartburg I also need driving directions from Wartburg this would be greatly appreciated for any info that someone has

I think it does help both teams it might not help as far as the competion go's but both schools can use the gate that cross county games bring some times you have to give up the competion of the game for the good of the school also there are alot of friends and family the really like the county games

I was told that Sunbright was dropping Wartburg off the schedule

What does every body think about the remark that Spencer Tillman made at the half of the Georgia and Auburn game when he referred to the last play of the game by Indiana when they was trying to score on Penn State as a Phillip fulmer play call. I think that he needs to go and put a another layer of mackup on

Superdude sounds like Wartburg could surprise some people this year a 41 41 tie with cosby is big and did all the football players play in the game what are they 3 or 4 that play football and at least 3 of them are starters I think

This go's out to all the Rockwood players if you can you might want to find some extra long cleats this week because next Friday you will be playing the game in a big mud hole I know it rained this but that field was crowned really well but it was still very very muddy thumb

I think Wartburg has a chance to win this one they match up better with a big physical team more than a team with speed they will still need to play the best that they can to pull this one off G.P. is a good team maybe they will over look Wartburg some what

I don't know what is going on in C town but there is somthing up the die hard Coalfield fan that i work with said that coach K was hanging it up at the end of the year I told him I had heard that a few years ago he said true but this time he thinks it's true and that coach K had not even been to practice this week as of wed. this could be a bunch of rumors but my experience with rumors is there is some truth to what you have been told but the facts are different from the real truth and as for mpg at C town if the kid thought that he would get looked at more by going to coalfield so be it it is very hard to be seen at small schools and if you want to look in to a school just look at Rockwoods baseball team there was kids from Oakdale Harriman Kingston and even Spring city and if you want to look at some real high school recruiting just look up the road at A.C.

I think they had a chance to be real good but the loss of the Howard girl will really hurt them

CYJACKET I am seeing some of the same things out of Coalfield this year that I seen out of Wartburg last year and so many other teams on all levels That is to many stars can make for bad team chemistry on a team and to say there is nothing going on is a false statement players quitting the team parents having to be restrained from the coach's and so on This is some of the same stuff that I seen out of Wartburg last year I have heard so many people say the problem with Wartburg is they don't care if they win as long as little Johnny can be the star and would agree to a point but it looks like it has hit C Town this year this is not a post to bash Coalfield but to just say there are to many ME ME'S in sports and that it happens in all towns and at all levels of sports

What do mean do I need to say more Wartburg beat O.S lost to Harriman so that tells me that you could put all three of these teams in a hat and draw one out and that could be the winner don't bash wartburg just because they play county teams if O.S. or Harriman was in Morgan C. they would have played Coalfield Oakdale and Sunbright so don't down the dawgs for playing the county rivals I can remember back when the dawgs first went to AA they did not play the other county schools and people downed them for not playing them

The key to this game could be how good is Coalfield's noseguard and inside backers are. As long as I can think back the Jackets has always gave up the middle and stoped the out side this is just what I have seen over the years if the jackets had a strong noseguard in the middle there D was really hard to score on this is not a bad plan because most high school backs seem to go to the out side at the first chance they get but I still think the dogs by 8 thumb

I don't see Watburg bragging about betting Oakdale and Sumbright just Coalfield reason being every body in the county knows Coalfield is argent and cocky when it comes to sports I have friends that played ball at coalfield i don't even try and talk to them about sports way to cocky Coalfied lives for sports even when they get out of school it's all about sports in C town
