  1. With 2 games left to play: 1. Mt. Juliet 12-0 T2. Beech/Lebanon/Station Camp 7-5 T5. Gallatin/Portland 5-7 7. Hendersonville 3-9 8. Wilson Central 2-10

  3. After 1/28 games: MJ 9-0 Lebanon/Beech 6-3 SC/Portland 4-5 Gallatin 3-6 Hendersonville/WC 2-7
  4. MJ 8-0 Lebanon/Beech 5-3 Portland 4-4 SC/Gallatin 3-5 Hendersonville/WC 2-6 MJ looks like they will easily win this district. Only question is will they run the table. Game at Beech looks to be their toughest remaining. And Portland is definitely the surprise of this district. Been in the cellar for years but big road wins at Lebanon and Gallatin this week have them currently in 4th! Nice job by the Panthers.

  10. MJ and Beech 2-0 Gallatin/SC/Lebanon/Hville all 1-1 WC/Portland 0-2 District play resumes 1/7/20.
  11. Haven’t seen SC yet. Will see them after the first of the year. I would say MJ is in the drivers seat. They won at Lebanon 51-45 Friday night.
  12. MJ, Beech, Hendersonville, Gallatin all 1-0 in district play Lebanon, SC, WC, Portland 0-1
  13. District play begins tonight. MJ @ Lebanon WC @ Hendersonville What are the other two matchups? How has everyone looked so far. I’ve seen Lebanon a couple of times. I think they’re decent.
  14. Two years ago Oakland won in a unofficial shutout. Lebanon scored 6 on the last play due to a prearranged TD run by the Lebanon senior player who had special needs, never saw the field but had put in all the work throughout the season asked of him by the coaches. Such a classy move by Creasy, staff, and team. This year I’m hoping the Blue Devils can legitimately dent the scoreboard at least once. Oakland 42-7.
  15. They’re pretty senior heavy. Maybe 5 starters on each side of the ball are underclassmen.
  16. Lebanon blew a golden opportunity for 2nd last night. This year will be back to Oakland or Blackman just like the past two years (assuming we can get it together for Rossview)
  17. Oakland just hit the 80pt mark tonight for the 2nd time this season so as a Lebanon supporter I say go Bears!
  18. Definitely a disappointing loss. I may be wrong but I think Lebanon has to beat Rossview next week to clinch a playoff spot. Things should clear up a little after the Rossview-Hendersonville game tonight. As far as Lebanon-WC goes, just more of the same for Lebanon. They’ve been very undisciplined all year and last night it really bit them. 10+ penalties, a couple of turnovers, a muffed punt. Very disappointing.
  19. With 2 games to go: Region Overall MJ 3-0 5-3 Lebanon 2-1 4-4 Hendersonville 2-1 3-5 WC 1-2 4-4 Rossview 1-2 4-4 SC 0-3 0-8 That Lebanon/WC game and Hendersonville/Rossview game obviously both big this next week.
  20. 17-7 Stewarts Creek. Lebanon moved the ball pretty well but two drives ended with turnovers and one with a missed FG. Stewarts Creek defense did a nice job bending but not breaking. Stewarts Creek brought a great crowd. I think they had more folks there than Lebanon. These last two region games are huge for the Blue Devils. Win both and they will be at home in round one of the playoffs. Lose both and they could miss playoffs entirely. Glad you enjoyed the broadcast. Those guys are homers but still pretty good.
  21. nrgrizzlies, I remember a few weeks ago you talking about a disappointing radio broadcast that an opponent had. I would encourage you to check out Lebanon’s 98.9 FM tonight. Tommy Bryan, Bob Lea, Terry Stafford, and Joe Gardner do an excellent job covering Lebanon High football. High quality broadcast in my opinion.
  22. Actually 4 common opponents: Lavergne, McGavock, MJ, Station Camp. Stewarts Creek 4-0 Lebanon 3-1 I agree, should be a good game. SC 24-21.
  23. I don’t think they have to improve on last years 8-3 record to take a step forward by hosting a playoff game. Overall record won’t be as good this year because they replaced Trousdale Co, Antioch, and Coffee Co with Gallatin, Beech, and Stewart’s Creek in non region. If they can beat Wilson Central and Rossview (not a given) then yes they’ll probably finish 6-5 with a home loss to Riverdale or Blackman in round one of the playoffs and that will still be forward momentum in my opinion.
  24. Hendersonville lost this game in the first half. Complete domination everywhere but the scoreboard in the first half for the Commandos. They should have been up three scores at halftime but penalties that kept a Lebanon scoring drive alive, a bad pitch by the QB that squashed a Hendersonville scoring threat. They outgained Lebanon 210-94 in the first half but only led 13-7. Second half belonged to Dequantay Shannon. Best half of football he’s played this year. Ran for 150 in 2nd half alone. Also shoutouts to 2nd/3rd string QB’s who led the game winning TD drive after Copas was out with arm injury. And lastly to Christian Pena. Radio guys say he has knocked down 49 consecutive PAT’s which is a huge deal considering these last two wins have come down to a couple of missed PAT’s by the opponent.
  25. This is a great point. Interested to see if there is any hangover from the way that one played out.
