  1. Semifinals set: Green Hill vs Beech Hendersonville vs Lebanon
  2. Region quarterfinal matchups are set. Who wins? Station Camp at Green Hill - I’ll take Green Hill Cookeville at Beech - I think this will be a great game. I’ll go Beech close Wilson Central At Hendersonville - Wilson Central surprisingly has two wins over Hendersonville this season so I guess it wouldn’t really be much of an upset but I’ll take Hendersonville at home. Gallatin at Lebanon - should come down to the wire and could go either way but I’ll go with my heart. Lebanon
  3. District 10-4A seeds for district tournament 1. Station Camp 2. Beech 3. Gallatin 4. Hendersonville 5. Hunters Lane 6. McGavock
  4. 1. Green Hill 7-1 2. Lebanon 6-2 3. Cookeville 4-4 4. Mt. Juliet 2-6 5. Wilson Central 1-7 District tournament starts later this week with a Wilson Central/Mt Juliet rematch in an elimination game. Saturday semifinals will have top-seed Green Hill taking on the winner of WC/MJ and another round of Lebanon/Cookeville in the 2/3 game. Those games will be played at Cookeville correct?
  5. Thru 2/10 games: Green Hill 7-1 Lebanon 6-1 Cookeville 3-4 Mt Juliet 2-5 Wilson Central 0-7 2/13 games: Lebanon at Cookeville Wilson Central at Mt Juliet
  6. Through 2/7 games Green Hill 6-1 Lebanon 6-1 Cookeville 2-4 Mt Juliet 2-4 Wilson Central 0-6 Friday 2/10 games: Green Hill at Mt Juliet Cookeville at Wilson Central
  7. Tonight’s games Mt. Juliet at Lebanon Green Hill at Wilson Central Green Hill 5-1 Lebanon 5-1 Mt. Juliet 2-3 Cookeville 2-4 Wilson Central 0-5
  8. Lebanon at Cookeville postponed until 2/13 Wilson Central at Mt. Juliet postponed until Wednesday 2/1
  9. At the halfway point of the district schedule. Lebanon 4-0 (3 of remaining 4 games on the road) Green Hill 3-1 (3 of remaining 4 on the road) Mt. Juliet 2-2 (2 home; 2 road) Cookeville 1-3 (3 home; 1 road) Wilson Central 0-4 (3 home; 1 road) Friday 1/27: Lebanon at Wilson Central Green Hill at Cookeville
  10. Understand completely. Are they all expected back at some point or season enders?
  11. What’s going on with Cookeville? They dropped a home non-district game vs Warren Co. this weekend and that makes 5 straight losses for them. They’re better than that. Lebanon 4-0 Green Hill 2-1 Mt. Juliet 2-1 Cookeville 0-3 Wilson Central 0-3 1/24 games: Mt. Juliet at Green Hill Wilson Central at Cookeville
  12. The MJ-Cookeville result surprised me. MJ has been improving as the season has gone along and have another big opportunity Friday night hosting Lebanon. I still think Cookeville will be tough to beat at home, which is where their next 4 district games will be. Lebanon has protected their home court well but now face 4 in a row on the road.
  13. After 1/13 games: Lebanon 2-0 Green Hill 1-0 Mt. Juliet 1-0 Cookeville 0-2 Wilson Central 0-2 Tuesday 1/17 games: Green Hill at Lebanon Cookeville at Mt. Juliet
  14. The new basketball district starting in 23-24 is going to be interesting for sure. Cookeville is an 80-90 minute drive one way from future district opponents Stewarts Creek, Smyrna, and Lavergne. Bizarre!!
  15. I think any of Green Hill, Cookeville, or Lebanon could win the district. Green Hill has good wins over Beech and Blackman in non-league and already a home win over Cookeville. Cookeville has an early season win at Stone Memorial. Lebanon’s best win so far is at home vs Gallatin. They do have a head scratching loss at Riverdale. Lebanon is the only one I’ve seen play and I don’t know if they have enough besides Jarred Hall to win the district this year. They really miss Yarin Alexander this year. At this point I’d say Green Hill wins the regular season title.
  16. Last night Green Hill won 63-61 at home in triple overtime over Cookeville. Lebanon was at home and defeated WC 52-37. Friday 1/13 games: Cookeville at Lebanon MJ at WC
  17. Of course Lebanon has other pieces a couple of which you mentioned in the QB and RB. Crowell is their best overall player so naturally things run more smoothly when he’s on the field. Hopefully he’ll be able to go Friday night. Should be a great game.
  18. Just looking at scores Riverdale seems to be playing their best ball recently. Key for Lebanon will be if versatile Anthony Crowell can return after missing past two games due to a concussion. In 8 games he’s got over 1300 all purpose yards and scored 17 td’s. Offense has definitely sputtered without him past couple of weeks.
  19. Looking forward to the Lebanon-Gallatin game. Always love watching a game at the Wave Yard.
  20. Coffee Co wrapped up the region title last week with the win over Cookeville.
  21. Not sure if Lebanon High’s crew of Tommy Bryan (PxP), Bob Lea (color commentator), Joe Gardner (sidelines) and Terry Stafford (stats) have been mentioned but they are pros. Great broadcast each week for many seasons now. 98.9 FM https://wantfm.com
  22. Lebanon was outplayed tonight. Siegel came in and took it. Surprising. Lebanon had way too many penalties and Siegel just set the tone from the opening kickoff. Back and forth, tied at 7, 14, 21 before Lebanon took their only lead at 28-21. Siegel answered to tie it at 28. They missed a potential game winning FG as regulation time expired. Blue Devils got it first in OT but Stars stuffed them on 4th and goal from the 1yd line. Then kicked the game winner on their possession. I hope I don’t hear another word about Lebanon Oakland in playoffs the rest of the year. Who knows what will happen but tonight showed how much improvement Lebanon needs if they hope to stick around anytime in the playoffs. I mean Siegel could potentially not even qualify for the playoffs out of 4-6A and they came in and won at Lebanon. Not good if you’re the Blue Devils.
  23. Yeah, I’d say Lebanon didn’t really start hitting their stride until about mid season and each of those games were in the first half of the year.
  24. Lebanon has waited a long time and had some extended stretches of awful football so the fan base is really excited about this team and with good reason. They are very talented and senior laden. Set a school record with 11 wins last year and will have a chance to equal or surpass that this year. The region is pretty weak so hopefully they don’t lose focus there. Toughest stretch in regular season will be back to back trips to MJ and Gallatin in October (bye week in between). Cookeville game was close last year, 21-14 I think and then the teams just went in completely opposite directions after that.
