what a stupid post xtreme loco, all you hear is how good cosby is on this board. they came in last night over confident, cocky and thought they would win big. it didn't happen. #24 & #15 shut black down last night. it was a great game against 2 good teams. why shouldn't they be happy with the win. #2 on this pole while unaka drops out of site. that is why these polls are just for fun, people better realize unaka has played 13 games, 10 on the road against top notch foes. they are a good team as is cosby. as for #55 you can't find a better kid. he didn't play well at cosby so last night he tried to step up his game. cosby plays cloudland this week and that will be a tough game.

the damage has already been done. when you let players quit and come back, quit and come back you are just asking for trouble. as i have stated we have some good young players at chs but what smith has allowed players to do cannot be fixed. i remember one time with coach hyatt that his own son matt told him he thought he might just take the day off from practice because he needed a break. coach told him if he took the day off he might as well take the rest of the season off. people its called discipline and heart. we want to have an elite program. we need to start over and have the same rules for every player. i was told by a unaka fan at the game the other night that in a game unaka's rusty chambers got his nose cut after scoring a bucket in the first quarter and received a deep cut that required i think 15 stitches. they put stitches in it at the gym. they said a doctor was at the game his kid was playing and that chambers came back with the scored tied at halftime and scored around 20 in the second half and unaka won by a bunch on the road. that is why they have a great program. the kids are sold on winning. winning has a high cost. we find every excuse possible not to play. could you imagine someone maybe outside of mark doing that? wins are important but their are standards one must have to obtain them. i am not as close to the program now as king and rolltideroll are but i would love to see teams like in our era. do you king and rolltide think it will change soon?

they need to put the ball in chambers hands and let him create opportunities for himself and the other players. take advantage of his outside shooting and slash him inside. cody plays hard he is just not shooting well it will come.

you might want to consider that unaka has played 10 of 12 games on the road and that with a monster schedule. they have had several players out during these first 12 games. i think you might be surprised the second half of the season when they take the floor. i'm anxious to see the rankings in early February, compared to these.

hey guys, i am in agreement, remember the days of 6'10 bret and matt i was there playing for the blue and gold. we were very successful. i moved from roan mt. but still follow cloudland and unaka. i agree that you have big problems at chs. is it true that this player has been allowed to quit and come back since he was a freshman? he told me this summer he was not playing. what is the deal? i am not knocking ensor sometimes you have to change your style if you don't match up good with othe people. and if those 2 kids was at unaka they would not be on the team if this was the case. i want to see chs do well but he must start rebuilding. dismiss the problem players and start from scratch. you have some good young kids and a good jr. high team. you will be better off down the road. as for unaka, they play so hard, not the most talent just play harder than everyone. chambers is 6'1 and plays like he is 6'5 inside. you can tell he is the heart and soul of that team. do you think he took the summer off? no. i bet that he is in the gym everyday. that's heart something we need at chs. to have a respected program you got to have discipline and we don't. so we lose the big games. king and asis what is the answer? the fans were ready to skin him the other night.

i have seen both teams play. you talk about tolley not being there, unaka has played iwith several key players missing this year because of the flu and injuries. if unaka has everyone back healthy it will not matter. you are about to see the advantage of playing a top notch schedule. they had big leads against tennessee high, knox bearden, and harriman and lost. they are not deep on the bench as in the past and this might hurt them but they are good. had they come out of the press in these 3 games they would have won by 10. they seem to live and die by it.

dogman they beat elizabethton who is a very bad basketball team. eliz. beat a bahamas team who is the worst team ever to play at the arbys, a loudon team that is 1-10, and an oak ridge team who has more problems right now than michael jackson. just because they drilled elizabethton don't make them great. db is average at the most.

face it anklebreaker, this is a bad team. the teams in this tournament are the worst ever. tri cities christian is terrible. crockett and unicoi is bad. north greene away from their gym is bad and university high is weak. just a few years ago hancock county, johnson county, unaka, and other made this a good tournament. now it is a joke.

hampton deserves a pat on the back for getting 6 of the worst basketball teams together for a tournament. outside of happy valley and cloudland sometimes, the other 6 teams couldn't win the greene county girls tournament. hampton has the worst team in school history, tri cities christian, my god please.
