  1. i know kristal signed with freed *thumbs up* but i was just wondering where my girl alecia is going? if there is an interest
  2. why if a team was winning by that much.... would you leave her in the game? yea its an accomplishment even if it was 'set-up' but id rather have class than some record that i didnt really deserve... its like cheating on and IQ test....
  3. Perry County will win it all with Summertown a close second....
  4. Kasey has always been a good player.... although her work ethic and mindset were always in question (this cost her a stable starting position her Freshman year) her ability was not. Realistically a scholarship was never an issue for her for basketball, not because lack of ability, but because of lack of effort. She was never completely happy playing basketball and this led to her decision to do what she has done ever since I can remember (even when she was in elementary school)....cheerleading. She made a choice for herself and chose to do what she thought was best and what she knew would make her happy.... I think we should support her in her decision rather than dwelling on 'what could have been' and what was lost and concentrate on what is in ahead. Hopefully with a new coach and a new system things will improve for the Lady Lions. I love you Kasey..... I know I corrupted you but you never objected!!! MUAH!!!
  5. Smokie Ainsley at Frank Hughes has at least 7 on the year.... maybe more.
  6. Frank Hughes has three or four really talented seniors that have a chance at the next level if they could just get some exposure or someone to come see them play...
  7. Wwwwhhhhheeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwww!!! BLAKE WARREN from Frank Hughes is a GREAT coach.... and probably the hottest coach in the state... yummy....
  8. Crystal Eason is the girl from Scotts Hill you were talking about
  9. I am sorry people. I don't know what I was thinking saying that I didn't think that Erica got 1,000. I had a brain lapse there for a minute or two I guess. I knew that she got it, I don't know why I said that. Maybe I meant that she was trying to get 2,000 her senior year. That could have been it. Oh well, no harm done I don't guess. It is kinda bad when YOU don't even know what you mean. LOL.
  10. Wow.... 44-29 at half... wasn't expecting that! I hope they can make a run, come back and win.
  11. I could be wrong, but I seem to remember that her senior year she was trying to hit 1,000. I don't know if she ever did it or not. Her and Molly aren't close in points from what I understand. Molly played a lot early in her high school career as a post, but Wayne County was loaded with guards and Erica's scoring came along later. Someone correct me if I am wrong, but this is how I remember it.
  12. Umm... I wish I was the all-time leading scorer in the county, but I KNOW for a fact that Molly York and Ashlee Robertson scored more than 2,000. I am not sure about any other players past, but I know those two did at least.
  13. Ctown'sFinest I think you may need to inform Markease that he must have his stories mixed up. That stuff about the 'fartin' happened during the B-team game with the B-team players. Me and 2 of the other starters that did not have to play in the B-team had nothing to do with that; get it straight. The Oscar Meyer thing was just a joke. I just wanted to see if he remembered about that. Tell him to send his email address by you.
  14. Yea, they had a transfer from Columbia Central I think. We talked to him when we played at CA. From what I saw he was pretty good. Ask him about Oscar Meyer the next time you see him...
  15. Lovett and Corbin are GOOD! No doubt about it! Good job STOWN! I'm coming to see you guys play at State... don't disappoint me!
  16. Weatherly and Edney are GOOD. No doubt about it! Good job PC! I'm coming to see you guys play at State... don't disappoint me!
  17. He games in the SEC Tournament have been at 12 noon or 1 pm both times they have played. The KnoxNews.com reported this and gave the details.
  18. DCA recently oust the perennial single-A powerhouse for the past 4-6 years; Ezell-Harding. I think that they will get a good game from Perry County and I think that PC might pull it off. PC is a good team and when they play like they we all know they are able to they could blow anyone out of the gym.... home or away. DCA will fight to the finish, but I bet I get to watch the Lady Vikings at Murfreesboro next week. PC by 4 in OT.
  19. NO ONE compares to the Cameron Crazies… NO ONE!!! They are one of a kind…
  20. Wayne Co. is a VERY talented club. They are a good team. They have some great outside shooters and ball-handlers in J.D. Byrd and Lance Nutt. They have a 'defensive stopper' in Charlie Mosley, and they also have some great post presence as well. Justin Bryant is probably their best player... about 6'4 or so, he can go inside-outside and can take over a game if he makes a couple of shots. Tyler York and WC's talent-filled bench is hard to match as well. CPA is a GREAT school and have some of the BEST people that I have ever met in my life. I expect this to be a great game. I am impartial about this game honestly, but I think that I will have to go with my fellow Wayne Countians bring home the win. I wish CPA much luck and if it comes out that they win, they deserve it. They are some wonderful people and I think that this will go down to the wire because I know that CPA is just as talented as WC. Good luck to both teams. WC by 2 in regulation, but if it goes into OT I give it to CPA by 3
  21. Just to clear things up... I am not sure if some of you guys think that I meant that Pat was at the Heritage game and not the Cheatham Co. game. These games were played on different nights. She was at the Heritage game on 3/3 and at the Cheatham Co. game on 3/4. Just wanted to make that clear.
  22. No, no, no... the Wizard of Knoxville was not at South Doyle to see Sade Buley put on a show, she was there to see someone 2 years her junior.... Sophomore Cait McMahan and the Lady Mountaineers of Heritage in their game recently played against Oak Ridge in the 18 point comeback win for a Sub-State berth. I bet she was there seeing the phenom in action. Probably getting an up close and personal view of Cait to start actively recruiting her. I would love to see her at Tennessee in the next two years. She is an AWESOME player!
