Summertown is the favorite, Collinwood second with the rest od the district wide open but the edge goes to Mt. Pleasant, Perry County, and Zion for 3rd and 4th place.

If Ryan Franks can win this year after losing his whole team he is a genius. Trotter is the odds on favorite to win. His only mistake is not getting his old pal Wes Huddleston to be his asst. coach. With the teaching of huddlestons mechanics and Trotters tenacity the eagles would be unstoppable.

Well huh........ Who is left in 12A........It seems the Wildcats are! Region hardware and 3rd trip to SubState to boot. I guess thats better than what the co-coaches of the year teams got. They are sitting on their thumbs now. Congrats to Wayne County and Coach Franks..... Best TEAM and COACH in the Region. All the haters recognize.

[ I think Wayne Co.'s player get due respect as well as Coach Franks. Who has given Franks anything? No One! The only respect he gets in 12A is on the court after a game when the opposing coach is meagerly coming over to shake his hand after a good old fashion trip to the woodshed. I mean come on guys, it is bad when even an Alabama newspaper is recognizing the fact that Franks is the best single A coach in the area but he gets no love from his colleagues. Is it jealousy? Are the other 12A coaches simply retarded? Franks has took the Wildcats further than any other 12A team for the past three years. What does the man have to do? Don't get me wrong Trotter is an intense coach who gets the most from his players and you could make an argument for him getting co-coach of the year....but BOYD!!!!!!! Oh my lord, who has he been bribing. Is this a running joke between the other 12A coaches or what?

Heard the Summertown Assisstant job was open but Wesley Huddleston accepted it.

Huddleston is one of the great minds of the game. Trotter could learn a lot from him.

Heard Trotter may have ex Lawrence County assistant Wesley Huddleston roaming the hardwood with him next year. What a companionship this would be they have a lot in common.

Should be a great game between 2 good Single A teams. Mt. Pleasant has home court advantage but Wayne County has been playing well lately.

Yes they will be that bad without Massa. Love is the only player they have left now. Is Massa done for the year?

Coach Bird just flat out can coach. He outcoached the Collinwood staff. Bird could take a group of P.E. girls and continue to be competitive in a tough district.
