  1. Hahaha!! Where is that humble pie boys? Sure do hope TheSmoothJuker has an empty stomach, because he has a lot of eating to do. Congrats to Sycamore on a good win. Jesse had his usual 20 point night, and Lohin stepped up big when Sycamore needed him to. Tuesday night will be a good game. Sycamore is going to have to bring their A game to win this one. Good luck boys!! Oh, one last question. This one goes out to TheSmoothJuker. How does that foot taste?
  2. How many times can you say the same exact thing on the same thread??? Enough of this humble pie, bus driver, and the rest of the same crap. Get new material and a win in the consulation game at that, then talk.
  3. Touche' HHSnumber1fan....touche' indeed. This should be a close race, but Moulton SHOULD win the MVP. For one, he led his team to a regular season district championship and he came up big when his team needed him to. Both times against the second seeded Harpeth, Jesse came to play (unlike West). You SC guys can say that y'all beat Sycamore once, and Jesse only had 4 points in the Sycamore's win, but by what I am told Jesse did not play his normal minutes. On a side note, there should be NO ONE from Waverly talking about DJ Reid getting an MVP honor. He may have averaged 16 points a game, but that is five points lower than Moulton, and you can't expect an MVP on a team that is under .500 in the district.
  4. Well I am glad it rains threes in your house, because if Sycamore does make that trip to your gym they will be bringing one of the leading three point shooters in the midstate . Sycamore has a very good perimeter game, they can shoot with the best of them.
  5. Congrats War Eagles.....You guys had an excellent year, and I hope you guys can continue this momentum into the tourney...Don't be suprised if Coach Farmer rests some of his guys against SC because he wants them to be fresh for the districts since the game against Stewart doesn't matter anymore. Anyone heard from inappropriate53, you know the Harpeth fan that probably was kicked off for trash talking...I bet his foot is so far in his mouth right now...ha! Great job boys, way to bring the District Championship back home
  6. Yeah you showed them....by what i hear it was three against one in SC's favor...I think the school for the blind could win if it was three on one....yeah be proud of gangin up on some one...
  7. Stewart is currently in third, and pretty much have that locked up. Sycamore ( I believe) can get no worse than second place. With that loss last night to Cheatham County, it pretty much ruined the chance of SC gettin 1-2. All of this assuming Sycamore is going to win friday night against Waverly....but assumptions are always dangerous
  8. What are you talkin about overrated? They have only lost two games. One to the Stewart County team that was ready to play when Sycamore wasn't, and the second game to a better Goodpasture team. I am pretty sure only losing two games isn't to shabby...Oh wait, didn't Sycamore drill Harpeth, a team in which SC was killed by twice already this year? If anyone is overrated it has to be your dear boy Jake West. Sure he can score....but what happens to him in the big game? He doesn't show.....just as he did in the two HUGE games against Harpeth. So if you could please enlighten me on how they are overrated, i would love to know
  9. What is idiotic is the post that you just made. Coach Farmer has been proven innocent. There was no sufficient evidence against him, so he did nothing wrong. Now I don't know what laws you know, but here someone is innocent until proven guilty, and they tried to prove he did something wrong, but there was nothing there. The whole he can't be alone with a student is just a precautionary. So lay off this whole Board only allowing it because he was from Lipscomb...you have to come up with something better than that.
  10. Yeah, Sycamore should win by double digits just by going on how the last game turned out. But, Sycamore also beat East Robertson pretty sound in their first meeting, and had to win in overtime. Anything can happen folks, Sycamore better come out firing on all cylinders or they could be in for a shock. Oh, to all the Sycamore pep club: I hear that T-Ray says you can't do the nuts and bolts cheer anymore. My question to you is, how can he stop the entire pep club? He can't throw you all out.

  12. This one was popular with my pep club when I was in high school (Sycamore). We would single out the player with the biggest ego, and aggrivate him so much that he would do some towards our student sections. Then we would hit him with a Douche Douche Douche....Douchebag. Or if there was a fat kid on the court, we would chant truffle shuffle..clap clap clapclapclap......over and over
  13. So you can honestly tell me that a loud gym of energetic and crazy fans don't effect a game? If you think that, then you are saddly mistaken. Example: Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham, NC. How many players do you think want to go play in an atmosphere like that?...0. You are right, the pep clubs don't play the game, but they sure can impact one.
  14. Alright, put an end to this crap now....Sycamore got beat by Stewart, Harpeth was handled by Sycamore...All three of those teams now have one loss in the district. Which means it is a toss up for the rest of the season. There is no reason for all of this trash talking when we aren't even in Feb. yet. Stewart came out wanting the game more than Sycamore did. Jake West really didn't show me much, he got most of his points at the end of the game on the foul line. Jesse Moulton played a great 4th quarter, and was lights out with the 2 minutes to go in the game. The things that really killed Sycamore were the turnovers and the "intentional foul" on Lohin at the end. Austin tried to reach in to tie up the ball for a jump ball, but the ref called an intentional and Stewart got 3 points off it. The pep club was pretty much ineffective the entire night, they were not loud at all at key moments in the game. Sycamore's players need to learn that to defeat a zone, you need to attack the gaps...simple as that. Catfish help me out..Is this the first Sycamore boy's team to lose to SC ever?
  15. Catfish knows everything about anything when it comes to high school sports...just ask him...he is a guru when it comes to the knowledge of high school basketball or football.
  16. I saw the Sycamore/E.R game and I have to say I was impressed with Sycamore's play...somewhat. The things I didn't like is that Big John doesn't really fight for rebounds. He stays in the middle hoping to catch the ball, and when he catchs the ball in the post, he holds it down to his waist which makes him the height of a guard. If John keeps the ball up high and gets a little stronger in the post, he could dominate because he has an outside shot. Secondly, I didn't like how Lohin got in a hurry and made some mistakes when the press was put on. The kid has some hops and handles, that is no doubt. But if he takes his time he should be fine. Now for the pep club issue. Yes Sycamore's pep club was decent, but far from the best that has been there. My junior year at Sycamore was propbably the best pep club that could come out of there. All of the chants that they do, they got from us. But pep clubs do impact a game. If the students are loud enough, they could get into player's heads and effect their shooting or tempers (take your pick). *Sycamore needs to win the district before they can even talk about state
  17. Sycamore has 4 seniors i do believe PageMan. They are Daniel Doubler, Nick Rives, Justin McCain, and Josh Barksdale. These four players had great senior years, and I want to congradulate them on doin something no other Sycamore baseball team has ever done. Good Job Boys! thumb
  18. Sycamore's defense needs to show up if they want to win. Their bats are hot right now, with 1-9 hitting the ball hard, especially Doubler and Bullard. Good Luck boys!
  19. I was at the game, and I have to say it was a good one until Sycamore broke it open. Batters 1-9 stepped up today, all hitting the ball hard during the game. Congrats to CW on an excellent season. Sycamore lives to fight a few more days. Now the whole incident everyone is speculating about. Yes, Bullard did get hit in the back, that is understandable because the pitcher was trying to establish his inside presence. Now when Justin McCain was hit after the back-to-back jobs from Bullard and Rives, that sparked my interest. #5 for CW had control of his pitches for most of the night, except for when he hit Bullard. He didn't come close to hitting a lefty for Sycamore, so why all of a sudden after two blasts did he lose his control? I did see one CW player stare down Bullard after the CW player lined out with two runners on to end the inning. I have played agains CW and they are a classy team, so I believe those players just got caught up in the moment. I am not saying whether their actions are right or wrong, but I am stating what I saw. Can't wait for the championship!
  20. So what time do the games start on Monday?
  21. What time does the game start on Sunday and where?
  22. Get Catfish outta here? How about Tcross? That idiot does nothing but try to start crap. Just look at the thread of the Sycamore basketball team and their wild season (which was started by Catfish to honor the seniors of Sycamore), and you will see that tcross comes from nowhere just to make a ridiculous comment. If you actually read 95% of Catfish's post then you would see that they are very opionionated and intelligent. He posts to what he believes is going to happen from his knowledge of the teams. The other 5% of his post probably are bashing someone, but it is only in response to morons like yourselves. Do your homework before you start trying to get someone kicked off this website.
  23. Wow! Is this score correct? Did Cheatham play that bad or did Sycamore play solid all around basketball. Did Noel have 29 of Cheatham's 58 pts? I honestly thought this game would have been closer.
  24. Sycamore could suprise a lot of people. They only lost three seniors that contributed a lot last year. Crawford and Bullard lead the way in the offensive department, while Josh Knight and Justin McCain lead the starting rotation. Should make for an interesting year in 10AA baseball.
  25. Kinda like he took care of business against Bullard last time? Anyway. Ricco can't be stopped but he can be slowed down, and if Sycamore slows him down they have a shot to win. Sycamore has to knock down some shots or the game could get ugly.
