  1. Mt Pleasant till someone beats them of course..Collinwood/Wayne Co at the next level, Huntland/Moore Co/Perry Co the next tier with Cornersville/Columbia Academy possibly making a move into that, Zion will still struggle with numbers . Should be a tough region, any of the top 8 could grab a play off spot I think
  2. sorry I missed this this week laz...not sure why lol...I would have picked a sweep again though...and ,anyway, think I'll go with that again this week
  3. np, when I first saw it I thought Laz had already gotten up the pickem thread for next week
  4. Still think Alcoa will be the only public at the boro...next best chance is the JB/MP winner might sneak by JCS Oh by the way..if Laz uses this thread for his picks for this week, put me down for a private sweep.
  5. this was the 10th year since the latest start up at the school(11th for the Jr pro teams), they did have a team for a couple of years in the 60's and one for a few in the early 70's
  6. Temple FCS JCS TCA Alcoa Boyd Goodpasture Camden Knox Catholic DL 8-2 privates Alcoa may be the only public to get to the boro below 4A
  7. really! IF they get by Lewis Co and Camden ,they get a really tough 7-2A team whoever of the 4 come out of that fight over there
  8. How bout "Scoreboard"? Great job Region 6
  9. Coalfield Temple Jackson Christian Trinity Christian Fayette Ac CAK Boyd Buchanan Goodpasture CPA Camden Knox Catholic Notre Dame David Lipscomb 11-2 privates

  11. hey Laz!. we gonna keep this up for the playoffs?
  12. 2) of course the weekly public v private is pointless. we are just having some fun. (it is good for public & private guys to just have some fun, its a bonding thing) Laz!! You mean there is no prize??
  13. well they moved up actually, none of their doing. Didn't really mean for it to sound condesending either, just pointing out how these things go in cycles, glad to see both the Wayne County schools doing well.. all 3(MP,WC & CW) of you kicked our butts regularly in basketball back then
  14. yeah I went to high school at Lewis County in the late 70's early 80's. I seem to remember the Lewis County-Mt Pleasant game was always for the district title, WC and the wood were no factor generally
  15. well it is always a possibility, 2 of the 3 last year came close, and two publics that moved down because of the privates moving up held sway in 1A...I would say more howling and gnashing of teeth as usual lol
  16. you got that right VG, I'd be stunned if he didn't lol
  17. CAK Copper Basin Grace Chr. Lookout Valley Notre Dame Knoxville Catholic Tyner McEwen Columbia Academy DCA Eagleville David Lipscomb Perry County Ensworth Jackson Christian Univ. School Jackson 10-6 privates
  18. Arlington lets me down well i'd never heard anything about either school so oh well
  19. Fayette in a close one,... just because it is in Somerville really (and I like their nickname for some reason :justwrestle: ). This one could come down to turnovers or the kicking game. Should be a good one.
  20. whoa, that's a mess lol...lets see... if all 3 win week 10, it would be a 3 way tie...and they split it up between each other, the tie breaker would go to overall reacord I think, so Gordonsville would be 2, Watertown 3, TC 4 that is the easy one lol if Watertown wins and the other 2 lose Watertown 2. TC 3, Gordonsville 4 if Watertown and TC win and G'ville loses, same as the one above if Watertown and G'ville win and TC loses, its G'ville, Watertown and TC if Watertown loses....oh my that throws Montery into the mix....I'll quit now lol
  21. Thanks TSF, nice to see someone respectful from the wood.....for a change.

  23. Very glad to hear from someone who sounds like a TCA fan should sound...or a fan of any team should for that matter. Wish some of the folks over on this side of the river would listen to that too...(Looks south)
  24. well , since we got mentioned here, I'll put in my 2 cents worth, you can't go by how PC played in the spring against TCA, coach and scheme change at PC since then...of course you will be seeing the same coach at WC. TCA does sound like they have the best team they've had and I watched them once a year for 6 years prior to last year...WC seems to be down a bit but, they are always tough at home. and now to another point, out of the 4 private schools in that region that we used to play in ,I always had more respect for the bunch at Trinity, always treated us well when we went down, but the tone of the replies to this thread sounds more like the crud you always got from the jerks at JCS. I haven't been to a game this year (my kid graduated) but if this is how Trinity is turning out, it is a shame you feel you have be like JCS now. As much as it pains me to say it, Good luck Wildcats (and Coach Rice...Joey D says hey from Florence)
