Maybe some of you should consider that life is more than basketball to most of these girls. After college what is there in basketball for them? WNBA? EUROPE? For the ones that care deeply for thier family and friends euorpe is not an option. The WNBA most likely will be defuct in a few years. I feel her choices are well thought out. She is motivated by the closeness of her family and friends. Why would anyone like that travel hundreds of miles away just to play a game that holds no future for her? We are very glad to see her stay close. Esp we parents of her friends since the second grade.

To think Seymour will get beat as bad as West is insane. Our girl have not faced West this year. However in a tournament I believe they were knocked out by either Maryville or Kingston then our team beat the winner by more than 30 points. I'm positive both teams will be ready to play. There will be no blow out of either team. Good luck to both teams and remember no excuses after it is over.

Cait is a very impressive player. However she did not have to play with 3 and 4 player hanging all over her inside. Brooke was continually double and tripple teamed the entire game. To say either of them had better games is an apples to oranges compairisons. Cait had to contend with some double teams, but after the first half she slowed very much by 1 player.

I've voted for her. She was in the lead. They must have a lot of computers at HHS.

I just hope Seymour makes it that far. AA division looks like the most equal. They should be most of the best game at the state.

Seymour!!! Mrs Wilson's chili is almost as good as my moms. Differnt specials every night. Friday is cheese sticks. To bad the game won't be as good as last night. To the Wrights and Wilsons: great job with the consession stand this year.

atn301, Its a joke. The refs prob are very consistant. However as parents we have no perspective. My point is most fans think they always recieve the bad calls. Go to a game where you know nothing about either team and listen to the fans from both sides. Odds are that both side feel shafted, esp the parents. I however do not feel any ref has bad feelings toward any child on any court. They don't get paid enough to listen to some of the stuff they have to listen to, esp from many parents that don,t have a clue. Lighten up, OK.

atn301, I've never seen a ref worth a hoot in any game my daughter played in. Also its not up to me what games count on a record. As a parent most of us remember and count the McMinn Cental game. We as fans have no control in the records counting. Also I've seen some of the refs calling when my girls not playing, they do a much better job.

Gee kind of looks what happened to Seymour when they played at both of those places. Where was the game? There where was a lot of home cooking in both gyms.

We herd Alcoa was one of the best teams in east Tenn. After tonights game they didn't look too good. Maybe dispite what dist 7 fans think Seymour is a lot better than they care to think.

IF ANYONE THAT IS NOT A BIASED PARENT HAS SEEN BROOKE PLAY THEY KNOW THE FACTS. SHE IS AND HAS ALWAYS BEEN TOO NICE OF A PLAYER. THERE IS NOT ONE MEAN PERSON ON THE SEYMOUR TEAM. SOMETIMES AS A PARENT IT GETS A LITTLE FRUSTRATING. HOWEVER SOME OF THE DISPAYS BY A PLAYER ON THE OTHER TEAM MAKE ME VERY PROWD OF THESE YOUNG LADIES.
