Giles will not bring home the title again this year. They could barely beat little ol' Sycamore. I say little because we only have one starter over 6 feet. Tyler dominated last night because Logan got in foul trouble way too early (THANKS REFS) When Logan left there was a short 5'8 white boy on him, that went well. The only reason that Giles won is because of three things... 1. After the half they canged their denfese to stop Sycamore from breaking 20 three pointers. 2. Giles' free throw % is horrible, but they have so much height over Sycamore they would just tip it back in after they missed... that hurt. 3. THE REFS... they babied Smith all night. They wouldn't call crap on him. Logan got touch fouls but Smith would hold his jersey keeping him from the ball... but thats not a foul? Stuff like that went on all game. Giles cannot complain about Cheatham playing too physical. More power to Giles if they do bring it home to OUR (Giles-Sycamore's) region but I dont see it. I havent seen Bolivar or SS play but I think it might get ugly for us. Good luck to Giles over SS. I'd like to see one of us get by them.

Looks like more great predictions coming from Giles Co. What I am more interested in is LOGAN PIERCE VS TYLER SMITH. This is going to be a great game. MY honest prediction (I have only been wrong twice this year) is Sycamore in a VERY VERY close one. Sycamore sat on the arc all night ending up with 15 three pointers, thats great to see again. Logan took the night off with under 20 points, very unusual, and only 3-4 blocks. I'm hopin that this game will turn into another Three-A-Thon with alittle of the Logan Pierce Show to wrap up the night. Going to be a GREAT game! TTTTTTTTTRRRRRRRRRRUUUUUUUUEEEEEEEE!

This one is too close to call. If Sycamore can get their nasty three back it could get ugly. Logan WILL be playing good so there is 28 points or so right there. I say Sycamore in a close one.

I leave the state for acouple of days and the whole district gets flipped upside down! BIG Kudos to Sycamore on some great ball. I wish I could have been there. Its just as bad missing the championship game against, who other than, Cheatham. I haven't been able to see anybody play during the tourny so I'm going to leave the predictions to yall kids. Nashville Auto Desiel College has a baseball team?

Wow Garry, I didn't know Dixie Youth had a 19-20 year old league. My bad though one big standout is better than 6 or so just normal standouts. YOUR RIGHT AGAIN about baseball. It is so popular in the state, that is why we have a major league basketball, football, INDOOR football, and HOCKEY TEAM?!?!?. This is a football and basketball town. You missed the link on the baseball thread. I hope you have better coordination when your seaon starts. Anyway, it sounds like yall have a pretty good little baseball team down there. Tyler Smith must play baseball too, because there is no sport that is complete with out Tyler Smith. I'm glad that baseball is such a popular sport in tennessee, otherwise nobody would give a crap.

Wurdup is right, we have proven ourselves at MC's homecoming. The tourny atmosphere will not be better than their homecoming atmosphere. Nobody has been able to stop Pierce BUT they have been all over our outside shooters. We will need our three pointer badly for the tourny. Sycamore is going to have a hard time in tourny this year, and needs to step up atlittle bit. Although *Again like the season the fith place team can knock off the first place team any day. What statebound is trying to say is that 10AA has a healthy number of athletes that are doing very well in terms of scoring. The "teams" have been up and down all season, Sycamore is a perfect example. They have beaten some of the best teams in the state, in and out of AA, then lose to Fairview??? Who knows what will happen in the tourny. Hopefully everybody in 10AA will have a up night. Thats great that yall put up 50 against Marshall before the half. Sycamore would have done worse to Fairview the first time they played them if the water boy and the cheerleaders had gone in to play during the second period. BUT they just beat us so... who knows. Either 10AA is popin three pointers all night or ICE COLD, giving it off to the big kids for layups all night. I have yet to see a team from 10aa balance this.

Harpeth won in OT. Here is the thing... Pierce put up 29 with COUNTLESS blocks. Sycamore did not come to play, LP did. The Sycamore extravaganza will not be known as THREE-A-THON anymore, it has changed to THE LOGAN PIERCE SHOW. I quit.

Couldn't agree more. Just last year for instance... Sycamore didn't finish up first in the season yet they still won districts. It's anybody's right now, minus Stewart Co. (HAIL GYM NAZI!!!) and Creek Wood. Sycamore plays Harpeth tonight... hope to see yall Cheatham kids there. I'll save yall a spot in the student section if ya want to join us.

There are hard feelings at Sycamore. I would LOVE to see Sycamore and CW play in the tourny This will not happen because CW will not make it out of the first round... yet again. Sorry for the reality check.
